Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bike Stand Shopping for a bike stand I was looking for two things. Does it hold the bike up without slipping and is it light enough to move around. I give this stand five stars for both. We're not splitting the atom here, we're holding up a bike so we can wash it down or work on it. I have a 29er with an XL sized frame and the stand holds the bike up by the seat post and the bike stays in place while I'm cranking the pedals or spraying it down. The clamp arm can be rotated to accomodate the seat post or top tube. I have angled the clamp slightly to match the seat post angle so the bike wheels are parallel to the floor. I can't see paying big bucks for other stands when this one does the job just fine. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for light bikes This stand is made for a lighter bike and is perfect for drive train adjustments and general cleaning and maintenance. This stand is not made for building a bike or for heavy bikes. You will experience a good amount of wobble from this stand and the bike will rotate slightly forward or backward after extended periods of work because the swing arm can only be tightened so much with the circular knob attaching it to the post. If you ride a heavy bike such as a mountain bike or a cruiser I would perhaps look for a more steady stand like the Park Tool one. But over all this stand does what its supposed to do which is hold up your bike while you do maintenance. I also used my 20% off coupon and got free 2 day shipping to Hawaii, so you cant beat that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, inexpensive, sturdy stand Actually not a lot to say about this stand. I bought it so I can more easily change the rear derailleurs that I destroy on the trail and it works perfectly for that use and as often as I will use it. It's fairly lightweight yet sturdy. Inexpensive. And the legs fold up so it's easy to get out of the way or take with you on a trip. The clamp is a little bit of a pain to screw closed while holding the bike up but that's the trade off for the cheaper model: no quick release clamp. Again, for as often as I'll use it I'll bear with it. Hopefully, the folding legs will hold up for years to come. Any hinge is obviously going to be a weak point but since I won't use it terribly often it should be perfect for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Entry-Level Stand I found out the hard way that in the case of bike repair stands, there is a correlation between price and quality. I was attracted to this model because it seemed to offer the best balance between price and performance. This stands holds my 27lb. mountain bike perfectly and even when pedaling vigorously is very stable. The clamp and folding head are versatile and you can choose to clamp the seat post, seat tube or top tube. The folding system is simple but actually pretty clever. When you want to fold the stand up, the pin is removed and the legs rotate upwards to rest parallel to the main shaft and the pin is reinserted. The stand seems well built and appears to have the same clamping head as the more expensive Feedback Sports models. My only (small) complaint is that when the stand is folded up the pin can sometimes slide out if you pick it up to move it with the pin facing down. Overall this is a great stand for the money. If you need a bike repair stand for occasional maintenance and can't justify purchasing a pricer stand then check out this model!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Suprised by all the positive reviews... Ordered this based on all the high reviews. Was not at all happy. Swayed a lot. It was small, easy to store and setup. Just not nearly enough quality for the price. Ended up returning, and for just a bit more got the feedback Sports stand - with Tripod base. It uses the same upper clamp as this one and is substantially more stable. I do like the upper clamp, it works pretty slick, smooth and quick. I actually like this clamp more than the speed clamp on the Pro model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product An excellent value. It holds the bike well; doesn't tip or feel unstable. It's easy to set up/ take down and it takes up very little space in the stored position. I use it for my mountain and commuter bikes. I think it works great. I've never owned or worked with another stand so I can't make any comparisons. I took a chance on buying the cheaper non-name brand stand and was pleasantly surprised. I've never heard of Feedback Sports until this purchase but they seem to make a good product. I'm purchasing their truing stand in a few days. I'll report on that as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recreational is right! Very satisfied so far. For my relatively heavy bicycle, the stand is very stable on a level concrete garage and even on a less level brick surface outside. Easy to adjust and tighten. Recreational is right because it is very fun to use, especially compared to turning my bike upside down to work on it as before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than I expected I got the least expensive model because I am basically a novice/intermediate rider who does regular but minimal mainenance. I was every pleased with the quality and sturdy construction of this stand. Can't imagine needing more, or paying more.
