Strong, secure, dependable bottles
Anyone handling a 1oz to 8oz Nalgene bottle can immediately feel the strength of these bottles. I've utilized the 8oz Nalgene when camping for fresh ground coffee, for loose leaf tea, for powdered whole milk, for pasta, and even for denatured alcohol as fuel. The smaller sizes I've used for honey, for sugar, for syrup, for Olive oil, and even for Ballistol (clean up of tools). I've made a number of "cat can" Alcohol stoves for family and friends, and when I do I include a 4oz Nalgene squeeze bottle with dispenser cap labeled and filled with (dyed) denatured Alcohol. Nalgene bottles, small and large, are an important part of camping and travel.
Perfect "flask" for port wine backpacking!
Fantastic, relatively lightweight way to bring a yummy drink hiking, camping or backpacking. We put it in a ziplock "just in case" but had no leaks after sloshing around in a backpack all day. No need for a heavier and more expensive flask.
Worry-free travelling
As a missionary, doing a lot of travelling, I like to pack my own healthy shampoo, & this bottle has been the one that has proven to be leak-proof with each journey.
Doesn't leak
Rating based on use for transporting alcohol stove fuel. Works pretty well and most importantly doesn't leak (even with 6000 feet of elevation change). Mouth is a little awkward for filling from a larger container and tends to dribble a little bit when filling my stove. It's a much cheaper alternative to the purpose made alcohol fuel cans.
Excellent little bottle!
We have two of these and recently used them to carry olive oil and port wine while backpacking. We were worried that at least some of the oil or sticky port would creep out - but not a drop made its way out of these trusty little bottles! Excellent value!
Perfect Size
I needed a small sturdy bottle to carry in my handbag. This is a perfect size, no leaks good seal, love it.
Great Container
Typical Nalgene quality (as in good). This is a sturdy, thick-walled bottle with a easy to start, tight fitting lid. I use it for bringing along coconut oil while backpacking.
It's Nalgene
It's Nalgene, need I say more? If you don't know about Nalgene, it is a wonderful line of products that are sturdy, easy to clean, and versatile. These work great for smoothies as the smooth plastic prohibits fruit, or chocolate malt from sticking to the sides. Love `em!
Soooooo useful
Currently, I am using this size and style for protein shakes, portioning out energy drinks (surprisingly it does quite well with carbonated beverages. No explosions or leaks), and some dry goods like granola and nuts. The price at REI is very competitive. Easy to clean. The wide mouth allows for many bottle brushes to get inside without much hassle.
Egg/Coffee Carrier
I have two of these containers and other nalgenes in various sizes. I was able to easily scample 6 Large Eggs and carry them in here for a kayaking trip. The other I use to hold a weekends worth of coffee. These do not leak.
