I love this sleeping bag and nemo products. I have another nemo sleeping bag for colder weather and was looking for one fir warmer temps. This bag exceeds everything I wanted! Thanks Nemo for making great products!
Bought this a month ago. Have used it once so far on a trip and it was perfect. I am 6’2” and I bought the long version 32°.
I am what they call an "active" sleeper and am most comfortable on my stomach or side. I'm 5'6" and 150 pounds. This bag was made for me and sleepers like me. I used this on a recent three-day camping trip to Neah Bay and was very impressed. Nemo's spoon design really does provide ample room to move around and be comfortable. And, while I was concerned I would find the foot box confining (I prefer foot boxes that zip open), it wasn't. As I like to sprawl out with my arm over my head, I did find the hood a little confining, but it really was a minor thing. One improvement Nemo could make is to add pad strap loops. Also, as a sea kayaker, I bought this bag to use on summer paddling trips in the Pacific Northwest. There the synthetic fill is a plus although I would caution people to be wary of the temperature rating: it's accurate. I'm a cold sleeper and, while this bag was great in a tent with overnight temps in the low 50s , I suspect this bag would not keep me warm in the low 40s unless I layered up. And, while the bag does compress well—it fit nicely into Sea-to-Summit's 13L Evac Heavy Duty Compression Dry Bag—backpackers might find it a bit bulky. In general I think this this is a good all-around bag one that could be used for car camping, backpacking, and, of course, kayak camping. Given the very reasonable price point, I would say this is a very good sleeping bag for the money.
