adidas  Terrex Skychaser AX5 Hiking Shoes - Men's

Comfortable and durable with a great colour combination

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve got high hopes for these... I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that they don’t fall apart like the 4 pairs of AX3’s I’ve gone through. Each of them only lasted a few months at best before the sole started to delaminate from the shoe. They looked good and rugged but obviously proven to be a bad design. I then ordered a pair of AX4’s and was disappointed that they run a half size small over what I have always worn in Adidas footwear. I cannot even wear them for more than a couple hours or so because the toe-box is so dang tight. Glad I went ahead and ordered these AX5’s a half size up because they fit much better.

I’ve been looking for an ALL BLACK travel/hiking solution that looks decent but also has excellent grip for outdoor trips. It is surprisingly hard. I’ve tried more expensive shoes from other brands and something was always wrong. Where some appeared more stylish, comfort was lost. Or if they were comfortable, they were ugly. I tried before this the Skychasee which while fantastic was actually far too rigid for my needs. I wondered how these compared and went for it. I was pleasantly surprised. These will be my one shoe solution for travel because they are stylish enough and blend in being all back but also feature the Continental tread/grip. I like them a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great service again from addidas ,im normally an 8 but always go to 8 and a half with addidas and this was the right thing to do here,perfect fit and these addidas Terrex are so comfortable and you can wear them all day and your feet still feel great at the end will definately be buying more of these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great product and would have given 5 out of 5 but have dropped to 4 out of 5 based on the sizing. As someone who wears a lot of Adidas, mainly Spezial's I was fairly confident that my normal size 9 would be perfect...but these were on the small side. The width was fine, but my toe against the very end, not an issue though as I was able to re purchase in a 9.5. The shoe is great, really comfortable and feels well made. Plenty of cushioning around the heel, breathable and waterproof. The continental rubber soul provides excellent grip when out and about.

Very comfortable shoes overall, seems a strong material it's been made with. hopefully they'll last sometime. The design is pretty average as once on the feet they seems very wide. One of my mate has the same model and after some time their overall shape changed slightly to the point they look grotesque, like it's got flatter and bulbous, a bit like clown shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes seem well made, offers decent protection, great rigidity and stability, great traction. The forefoot area is a little narrow but not to the point of uncomfortable. The "heel pods" offer great heel lock down. However, the midsole is way too hard and offers little cushioning. This is not the same lightmotion midsole found in some other adidas trail shoes at all.
