[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yet to be tested in truly inclement weather but to date the daily dog walking across various terrain has found them to be very comfortable.
I have been buying and wearing a Size 15 TERREX Gore-Tex Hiking shoes for several years and never had a problem with the size until now. The TERREX SKYCHASER AX5 GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes Size 15 is much smaller/shorter hill to toe than the Size 15 TERREX SPG 753001, A:IE2569, #132977863, adidas tP2TR00H00018 which fit perfect. I do understand using less materials means less manufacture cost, which I hope that is not the case. If you order the SKYCHASER you may want to order the next size up. Too bad that the SKYCHASER stops at a size 15.
It's what you expect from Adidas: a high quality shoe built with purpose. However I have to return mine for the small sizing. (about 1/4" smaller compared to some other shoes with the same size labels)
I’d recommend these to anyone for everyday use, very comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes. High quality for the price, very confortable, durable. Feet stay warm and dry.
Being an avid Adidas fan, I was tremendously excited to purchase these as a hiker/work shoe. After reading reviews and studying the sizing guide, I purchased a pair commensurate with my exact shoe size only to find out they were too small when I received them. No big deal, I’ll just do an exchange and size up a half size. That’s what it felt like I needed. Receiving the next pair was incredibly frustrating because I noticed the increase in a half size felt like they were either the same size or smaller and much more uncomfortable on my feet. I wasn’t about to keep playing this size guessing game and sent them back for a full refund. The shoes appear to be quality made! Rugged, quality materials. I just didn’t have the fortitude to go several weeks to get myself in a pair comfortable enough for my feet.
Got the high top ones as a gift 3 years ago and I got to say these are the best shoes. I wear them to work all the time. Very comfortable coming from a guy that has flat feet and wide feet. I would totally recommend these to people looking around for comfortable hiking or work shoes if you are allowed to wear them to work. I got the Vans hiking shoes like these and those shoes fell apart like paper in water.
Agree with comment below this. I have Terrex Speed Ultra that fit great in 10.5, Puig also in 10.5. In the AX5 10.5 toes were somewhat smushed up against the front. Had to return and get 11. I have narrow feet, though found the width nice and roomy even in the too short pair. I typically wear Lems for light hiking/running trails, but i think these are a nice addition. Very comfy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started buying these when the ax2 started. My feet hurt so bad from plantar fasciitis for years and I tried every shoe out there . Then I tried the ax2. I have bought 20 plus pairs and yep no pain anymore. I could go on and on. I have two pairs of the ax5 and all way gtx. Work atv riding fishing church yep I have a pair for everything. May need frequent buyer promotions lol
These are narrow, stiff, and uncomfortable. I kept them only b/c it's become next to impossible to find waterproof sneakers these days (I don't get why this is) that have decent cushion. If you've got sensitive feet, you'll need a firm foam insert to be comfy. I also had to insert something to stretch them out. They're definitely too narrow. I'm a size 12 and bought a 13.
