I have been buying and wearing a Size 15 TERREX Gore-Tex Hiking shoes for several years and never had a problem with the size until now. The TERREX SKYCHASER AX5 GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes Size 15 is much smaller/shorter hill to toe than the Size 15 TERREX SPG 753001, A:IE2569, #132977863, adidas tP2TR00H00018 which fit perfect. I do understand using less materials means less manufacture cost, which I hope that is not the case. If you order the SKYCHASER you may want to order the next size up. Too bad that the SKYCHASER stops at a size 15.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because they are great, people look at them and have asked where I bought them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit, very comfortable, short break in period.
I rate this product base on quality and construction of the shoe. All satisfy my expectations. My usual is size is 8 2E or 81/2 but brough this shoe at size 9 as some reviews called out the toe box and mid-sole being too narrow. But in my case, I find size 9 being a touch too long and resulted in some heel slippage. Wear 2 pair of bocks resolved the issue. If I have a chance to buy another Terrex, it will be true to my size. I am using this for the winter only; walking is stable and steady. Ideal for icy and light snow cover city sidewalks.
Great shoe and comfortable definitely buy some more
Impressive grip and confort, breathable and nice looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the shoes were uncomfortable, especially at the lateral shin area, where it made it impossible for me walk past 0.1 mi. because of the pain the shoe caused. Overall, the fit was tight, and I specifically ordered a half-size larger than I have ordered in the past. I tried several times to "break" them in, but always returned after a short walk in pain. This is the 3rd pair of Skychasers I've owned, and the other two pairs were great. What a disappointment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adidas shoes are my primary casual footwear of choice. I’ve owned a couple dozen pairs and have 5 pairs in my closet at this time. I buy size 11 and they always fit comfortably. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve tried out the Terrex hiking shoe without satisfactory results. The shoe checked all the boxes for quality, design, color, style and functionality but the fit as in the past is unacceptable. The length was okay but the width was at least a full size too narrow.
Being an avid Adidas fan, I was tremendously excited to purchase these as a hiker/work shoe. After reading reviews and studying the sizing guide, I purchased a pair commensurate with my exact shoe size only to find out they were too small when I received them. No big deal, I’ll just do an exchange and size up a half size. That’s what it felt like I needed. Receiving the next pair was incredibly frustrating because I noticed the increase in a half size felt like they were either the same size or smaller and much more uncomfortable on my feet. I wasn’t about to keep playing this size guessing game and sent them back for a full refund. The shoes appear to be quality made! Rugged, quality materials. I just didn’t have the fortitude to go several weeks to get myself in a pair comfortable enough for my feet.
I’m new to hiking shoe so I tend to compare them to a running shoe which this is not. When you first put your foot in, it feels like a hiker with rigid side walls but is quite comfortable. I noticed another reviewer talked about their heel coming up when they walk. Mine does that a little but it seems to be going away as I break them in. I believe this is a good value for this quality of shoe and might buy the high top version for the deeper snow.
