I bought these sneakers and everything was fine until the rainy season started, and I realized that the GORE -Tex technology doesn't work as it should because they let water in. I had noticed before that my toes were wet, but I thought it was condensation. However, that's not the case, and when they get wet in the toe area, they leak where they are stitched. I consider this acceptable for sneakers like these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great walking shoes purchased for my teenage son as I have some from the same range as does my husband. Terrex range is fabulous highly recommended really flexible and comfortable but Hardy! Always size up half size.
Very nice looking trainers. Comfortable and waterproof. A bit narrow but I ordered half a size up.
I have been buying and wearing a Size 15 TERREX Gore-Tex Hiking shoes for several years and never had a problem with the size until now. The TERREX SKYCHASER AX5 GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes Size 15 is much smaller/shorter hill to toe than the Size 15 TERREX SPG 753001, A:IE2569, #132977863, adidas tP2TR00H00018 which fit perfect. I do understand using less materials means less manufacture cost, which I hope that is not the case. If you order the SKYCHASER you may want to order the next size up. Too bad that the SKYCHASER stops at a size 15.
warm , dry, comfortable, smart and at a great price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this in a 8.5 and 8 Mens UK. The 8.5UK was too big and made my feet really hot so this was returned. With the 8 the shoe came worn as the label tag were cut off and one of the shoes it had visible mud marks. Also, weirdly enough with both sizes the Right shoe felt slightly more bigger. I noticed another person's review had the same issue. Both items were returned. Also to add they were not very comfortable either. Did not test the the waterproofness but checking comments loads of people had issues with water leaking through Also, it felt as if the Right shoe was bigger than the left.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve put these through several technical trails now, and the Terrex Skychaser AX5 is a masterclass in balancing agility with protection. The standout feature is definitely the GORE-TEX integration—I hiked through several stream crossings and muddy patches, and my feet stayed bone-dry without feeling overheated. The Continental™ Rubber outsole provides incredible confidence on slick rock and loose scree; the grip is honestly better than most full-sized boots I've owned. Despite being rugged, they feel surprisingly lightweight and "fast," almost like a trail runner but with the structural support needed for a heavy pack. If you want a shoe that handles alpine terrain without the bulk, this is it.
I was a big fan of my Terrex Anylander Rain.rdy hiking shoes so I bought the Skychaser Ax5 shoes now and am very disappointed as they're super uncomfortable and even hurt my feet. Especially the upper loop or eyelet really pokes into my ankle. Will have to discard them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because they are great, people look at them and have asked where I bought them
Durable and stylish. Works well for recreational or casual use.
