The Skychaser is a very stable shoe with a high level of comfort, especially when worn for longer periods and over longer distances. It is really suitable for all surfaces - from meadows to forests, trails and mountain paths. Thanks to the Goretex it is also waterproof. However, the shoe is very stiff, which leads to a slight loss of comfort if you want to go a little faster downhill.
Love the design they can be paired with a range of different styles. They're genuinely really comfy and you can feel the cushioning with every step, especially on rough ground. As with any goretex product, they get a bit warm after wearing them all day in milder weather or indoors. Also, no need to worry about laces becoming undone every 2 miles like what happens with the boots was wearing before got these.
I have purchased many Adidas shoes from the Terrex line. Unfortunately, compared to previous generations, this iteration is narrow in the toes, hot, and the laces snapped after a less than 65 miles of use. I put over 700 miles on my first pair of Terrex Fast R because I loved them so much. Sadly I had to change brands and buy a pair of Salomons instead.
Shoe performs well for hiking and trails. Easy to put on and being waterproof is a bonus.
In is forever shoe. It is durable ‘and excellent. It is exciting to wear it.
product design never tried to lace a pair of shoes with the lacing mechanism designed orvm they would start over.. fortunately they're elasticized so some support but mechanism is difficult to maneuver to get a snug fit these are supposed to be for trail/hiking so the lack of easy to use lacing definitely detracts from an otherwise great pair of shoes that fit and function exceptionally well anticipate that will need to purchase replacement.lsces as these seem like mechanism will break, either because it seems flimsy or because I simply rip them out in frustration because mechanism doesn't really seem to function as it should.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the most expensive Adidas hiking boots in preparation for my two-week hiking tour. Imagine my disappointment when, on the second morning of wearing them — as I was putting them on — the long mono-shoe lace just broke. And I was already in the middle of nowhere. I couldn’t switch to another pair or order new ones. This purchase has been a huge disappointment to me. I really expected better quality from Adidas.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are high quality shoes with a spectacular look. Water proof, superb grip for both hiking and slick surfaces. The Continental tred and Gortex are excellent additions. The slip lace works flawlessly and is easy with the well designed keeper. The shoes could benefit from a few tweaks. They are narrow at the base, almost like a cleat which is not ideal for hiking where wider grip platform is key. Also, they could use a little more of the Adidas signature cushion in the heal and arch. Although still comfortable, I was hoping for a little more of the cloud feel than the boot feel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and how they fit and feel. Adidas has really nailed the color combos. The shoe is sturdy, as a hiking shoe should be, with an aggressive sole design. Good value for a Gortex shoe and the one-pull lace system is a winner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost a month super comfortable they feel like warring sports cleats! I like it.
