adidas  Terrex Free Hiker 3 Low GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes fit great and they’re really nice. They have very good traction. The only downside is one of the straps on the shoelaces popped off and broke. A little bit bummed out because of how much the shoes cost vs the quality. I only wore the shoes one time and they broke when I wore them the one time. The shoe still fits and they're still a good shoe. Just a bit disappointing that the little heel strap that your laces attach to snapped on me the first and only time I wore them.

I haven’t owned a lot of hiking shoes mostly because the style is not for me. But I love the more run/street style. The sole is extremely comfortable for all day wear and I wasn’t sure about the sockliner but I actually love the added cushion.

"The only thing I don't like about these shoes is the heel. You have to hold the heel loop with your hand, otherwise the back of the shoe collapses inside. That's the most inconvenient part for me. Everything else is pretty good."

I got the Terrex Freehiker 3 Low as a travel shoe because I have plantar fasciitis, a mild bunion, and a not so mild Morton's neuroma. I love to walk through cities, so packing the right shoe for airports and travel is a critical decision. I was attracted to the neutral greige color, and my chic younger friends have been keen on Adidas lately. These shoes did not let me down. The waterproof feature is important if you're only bringing one pair of walking shoes, and the neutral look worked with easily with everything I packed. I sized up to accommodate my orthotics and was happily surprised by the extra heel lacing adjustment, which helped lock my foot in place. I highly recommend them and am thinking about buying a second pair to save for travel, while letting this pair become my everyday shoes.

This shoe had the strongest grip of any similar hiking shoe I’ve used on trail. The Goretex body added waterproof protection when stepping through puddles or swampy ground keeping my socks dry. They fit very well too except for some slight discomfort around the tongue of the shoe on the inside of my foot. This was only noticeable after about 5 miles though and not enough to dock a star on my rating!

Stylish outdoor shoe with great comfort. Easy to clean and waterproof. Adidas comes through once again with a great shoe.

Great shoe. Good looking. The only thing I don’t like about it that could be improved is the cushioning around the heel and ankle. It’s fastened together by an elastic string. It can get uncomfortable at times. If they sewed it together it would be way better.
