[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes fit great and they’re really nice. They have very good traction. The only downside is one of the straps on the shoelaces popped off and broke. A little bit bummed out because of how much the shoes cost vs the quality. I only wore the shoes one time and they broke when I wore them the one time. The shoe still fits and they're still a good shoe. Just a bit disappointing that the little heel strap that your laces attach to snapped on me the first and only time I wore them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Third pair of of Freehikers, 2 pair of 2.0 and now 3.0. They last forever. I disc golf 2-4 times a week and the Continental rubber is fantastic in all condition. Blows Vibram away. First week in 3.0, 4 rounds of disc golf and better than 2.0 in stability on rough and hilly terrain. Only downside is they hold trail dust pretty well. The midsole is textured.
I haven’t owned a lot of hiking shoes mostly because the style is not for me. But I love the more run/street style. The sole is extremely comfortable for all day wear and I wasn’t sure about the sockliner but I actually love the added cushion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfort and exceptional quality 100% recommended I love it
Great quality, walked with these on vacation and I would buy a second pair if I could. Love that they are water proof and are bouncy even after hiking Mt. Rainier. Can’t wait to wear these on more hikes.
Second pair of terrex hikers I’ve bought and I’m hooked. The quality of product is amazing.
I got the Terrex Freehiker 3 Low as a travel shoe because I have plantar fasciitis, a mild bunion, and a not so mild Morton's neuroma. I love to walk through cities, so packing the right shoe for airports and travel is a critical decision. I was attracted to the neutral greige color, and my chic younger friends have been keen on Adidas lately. These shoes did not let me down. The waterproof feature is important if you're only bringing one pair of walking shoes, and the neutral look worked with easily with everything I packed. I sized up to accommodate my orthotics and was happily surprised by the extra heel lacing adjustment, which helped lock my foot in place. I highly recommend them and am thinking about buying a second pair to save for travel, while letting this pair become my everyday shoes.
They run a little warm but that’s expected. They look identical (almost) to the casual pair of Adidas I wear as my daily. They are comfy and fit perfect. They are strong yet light. I like these the most because I don’t feel like I need two pairs for my mountain vacation. They function well in both the trails or in town shopping around. I wouldn’t wear them at home because of the heat. But when my environment is changing from urban to rural multiple times a day, these are perfect.
I really put this shoe to test by hiking and going for a run on the road. I will say it is a great hybrid shoe. I wouldn’t recommend for your longer runs of course but your 1-3 mile runs will be great. Additionally, I had so much grip when I was hiking and on slippery surfaces. The fit was cushy and wide enough for my feet. I added in-soles to give it more of that plush feel and it was so comfortable. Would definitely recommend if you need a multi-purpose sneaker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes were comfortable out of the box. They have enough bulk to support your feet on the trail, but still be very light.
