I cannot recommend these enough. And trust me I never write reviews for things but these I cannot rave enough about. For the price too they're absolutely amazing. I live in my Tacoma full time and I've had bad luck with lighting especially in the temps I travel in. I have been in UT and CO for most of the winter in 15 degree weather and these puppies light it up and keep it for what feels like ever. I love the three brightness settings and I simply pop it outside my truck at the crag or wherever and they charge right up. If you're looking for a light easy reliable solution to van or truck life lighting you've found it! I even got my heater too close to one of the lights and it melted.... still works like a champ.
Instant Mood Lifter :)
We love these lights for both outdoor and indoor use. They are high quality and the string is sturdier & longer and has more lights than any other solar string lights I've looked at. The little hooks work great. The charge lasts for hours. Solar charging takes a long time of strong direct sunlight (seems like most of the day where we are) but electric charging is quite fast. Super convenient to bring along set up and take down anywhere-we drape them over the hammocks while camping or hanging out at the park and over the deck bed or sofa at home. I'm getting another one to give as a gift and will likely get a second for myself sometime too.
Best product ever!
I bought two string lights to go with my Luci Outdoor lights. I keep them charged for camping and our annual hurricane preparedness. Little did I know we would be without power for several days in Houston TX during the coldest February ever recorded. I had the Luci lights set up in our living room while we kept warm by the fireplace. Placed one set of string lights in our kitchen so we could cook on our gas stove and the other in our bathroom. The lights last forever when you run them on low beam and when they are on high beam we had no trouble navigating in our kitchen during the nighttime power outages. I sent all of my friends links to your site to tell them how great these are. They made a miserable experience bearable.
Longevity
I'm a Dyrt Ranger and was sent the Luci Lights by Mpowered to use and review. I received the light in the spring and used it all summer long from Kentucky out to Washington state. I really like this string light! Very versatile and sturdy. You have the option of solar or power charge. It's round with the solar panel in the lid you pop it open and the string lights are inside. You can hang the circle and it will charge while it's hanging there. There are two buttons. First one tells you how much power you have saved. The second gives you a light and three brightness options on the string lights. That being said the charge lasted a LONG time! About 36 hours on low. I used it outside and in. Never had an issue it worked great.
Excellent product only 1 minor flaw
My wife and I have been using Luci lights in our travels in our newly converted mini-van camper. In the Canyonlands and Bryce Canyon of Utah to Sedona and Cottonwood Az and the Grand Canyon we have found the 'twinkle' lights to be a delightful addition to our camping ambiance. Whether strung up in the camper or on our picnic table they continuously bring a cheerfullnes to our meals or to reading. The only flaw is that the plastic strap for hanging quickly tore when unstrapping it. We have it jury-rigged with gorilla tape and glue. Still love the lights and just bought them for my son-in-law hunter/outdoorsman extroidinaire'. He too loves these lights
We really love these lights but broken after 2 vacations
We really love these lights. We hang it on the awning of our VW camper van. In the highest setting it provides enough light to read a book in the dark. Just perfect! Right now it sadly doesn't solar charge anymore. Only on usb. I also have the idea it functions a smaller amount of time on a full charge. Personally I think these lights should last for around 5 years when you only use them on your camping holiday. Ours lasted 2 years and are now half-half useable so I think the live span is to short for the money you pay. Kind regards Richard

I honestly love the mpowered string lights!!!!!!! They are surprisingly brighter than what i imagined they are long enough for creating an awesome illuminated outdoor space!!!! I love that they are LED light and don't feel warm to the touch. It's very easy to use and very compact! I would honestly recommend this to anyone! These light can definitely be used for an outdoor space or an indoor space. Thank you Mpowered for making these awesome solar lights!!!! I am super excited to use these on my camping trip coming up!!!
Perfect for camping AND when the electricity is out
We have used the string lights camping and always loved them. What prompted me to write this review though is after waking up to no electricity in my house this morning. I grabbed our solar lights that had been sitting in a dark cabinet for a couple of months. They lit up bright! We strung them around our small kitchen and had the coziest morning. I'm back on here getting more solar lights as these are a life saver when the electricity is out and you have small kids to get ready for school.
Yes I would buy this again.
The scout troop purchased these as way to stop using propane lanterns all the time. One was setup near a kitchen area and gave enough light to get the coffee going but it was difficult to use for any real cooking. The other one was put up in a group gathering tent during a cold weather campout and seemed to work out great but one of new scouts accidentally walked into the string probably setup too low and broke the light. Not as resilient as the scouts wanted them to be but still worth it.
I would buy them aga and buy it for all my outdoorsy friend
Took them camping and they were perfect for lighting up the tent site. Have only relied on solar panels to charge them so far. The three brightness settings are great lowest being perfect for ambient light highest is great for cooking. The clips make it easy to make different loops and lengths to attached it to various things. And wrapping them up is so easy and I love that they stowaway in the container so I don't have to worry about them breaking. We love these lights!
