Sturdy and versatile

As expected from REI, these snowshoe poles are top quality--sturdy, durable, easily adjustable for slope on the fly, and with good grips and comfortable, wide straps. The tips come with handy little caps when you collapse the length to stow. Also sturdy snow baskets. I use them as for snowshoeing, but also with my backcountry telemark skis--even as trekking poles. So basically a year-round usable investment.

Excellent poles

Love these poles, they give me that extra balance when snowshoeing on uneven snow and I think they will make good trekking poles. The adjustment is easy and has a good range.

These poles are a work in progress

I haven’t used them yet but from what I can see they’re sturdy enough for snow or trails.
