Pretty bummed with the quality of the fit and finish of the grips on the set that I got. I picked these up for a backpacking trip and on my first weekend using them, I found several flaws that make me want to return them. The first being that the rubber grippy part on the top is already peeling up at the corners. On both poles, they already started to peel up where it has a point. Product design rules always say that pointed corners or sharp edges always peel, break, or damages first so the rubber glued on to the top comes to a point in this spot and is a terrible design that could have been fixed with rounder geometry. Secondly, the bottom edge under the grips is a really sharp, unfinished edge that easily irritates and rubs on your hands. These poles feature an extended wrapped grip area below the main handles but the bottom of the molded handle is sharp and scratches you when gripping below. No idea why this edge is as harsh as it is. Other than those, the poles were light, grips shape was good but super disappointed by those two things.
