Bogs  Amanda II Plush Lace Rain Boots - Women's

I walk two miles each morning and evening in wet and cold conditions so wanted a boot that is warm and waterproof. These boots are both of those things but the fit is quite off. It seems one must have extremely large calves to wear these boots. I am thin but lift weights so my calves are of an average size, and my legs swim in these things. After the third time walking in these boots, they chafed my ankles so much they now sit in my closet. They look pretty so if you don’t move around much they may work, but I am quite active so these boots are useless to me. I’m very disappointed in Bogs. They look pretty but they are functionally useless.

I love these boots. I own and work all day at my barn with 22 horses. Long days, over 20,000 steps a day in the cold, wet weather. These boots keep me warm no matter the temperature. I am on my 3rd pair of the Amanda II Lace. They are light weight and not bulky. They are still cute. and I can wear them all day. The only thing is that the top of one of the boots rubs onmy skin if I do not wear my pants or socks to protect my leg. So much so that it creates a scab. It is where the material folds where the ties are. Any way I ijust put my pants in my boots and it is ok. I still would recommend and would get a 4th pair of this. Please never discountinue this style.

Have worn these rain boots once, very comfortable with no 'break in' sore spots. They feel and look of good quality/workmanship. Love the saffron colour, wish there were more colours to choose. I wasn't to crazy about the laces but there was few mid rain boots to choose from that offered a colour other than black/brown/green but I didn't mind the laces. Laces offered a bit of a different look and neater appearance with pants tucked in the boot. The side holes for gripping boots on was helpful. This is my first pair of Bogs and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another product. Sizing was accurate.

I’ve been looking for rain boots for a while but because I have large calves, I could never find ones that fit. These are great! They are comfortable yet sturdy. I appreciate that they are lined. I really love the red color, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I haven't had the chance to wear these outside yet (it's not quite cold enough to warrant these toasty boots), but they're super cute and comfy. I got the green and it's a lovely color. If you're a half size like me I recommend sizing up. I'm 9.5 and originally ordered a 9 which were a bit too snug, and I had to wait quite a while to exchange the boots for a 10 (I'd recommend ordering the other size and waiting for the refund if you're in a rush). The 10 is slightly roomy but not too big. I'd love if Bogs would start doing half sizes!

These shoes are warm and the soles are comfortable to walk in. However the length of the boot is quite awkward and hits right at the shin. Which would normally not be a problem but the tough material digs into the shin as you walk, even when I stuffed layers in between such as my pants. So my feet did not hurt from walking 18000 steps a day but my shins eventually began to bled due to the constant pounding/irritation of the boot length. If they were different material or shorter I would give more stars.

I do like the boots. They are easy to slip on and off however they have one issue which is they pull on most of my socks as I walk and the socks end up gathering around my heel which is very uncomfortable. I need to have very tight fitting socks to wear the boots. Even if I tuck my pants into the sock they still pull down. I have even resorted to a rubber band around my ankle and over the sock which is all a lot of trouble to wear a pair of boots.

I put all my other shoes away because these are the only ones I always wear. The inner lining is so soft and not too hot. The handles help me just grab and throw them on without having to sit down. They are perfect for my busy mom of 3 little ones lifestyle!
