The boots lasted 15 months before the upper separated from the sole and they are no longer useful. I also found the wide opening to be too wide because it sometimes let rain inside the shoe from above.

I was searching for comfortable booties to wear while commuting by bike in wet weather. So far, these are perfect. I need to wear medium or heavy weight socks with them for a snug fit. Merino wool socks help keep my feet warm and dry. The mouth is wide enough to allow flex while cycling but not too wide for light to moderate rain.
