Great!
I love it! Perfect for snowboarding and fits in my jacket pocket. I’ve taken a couple hard falls n it and it has never burst. The only problem is that sometimes the cap is hard to open, I had an older model that was a twist top, which was much better.

Foul water taste
Size and form is great but water has a very strong rubber / plastic taste. Washed multiple times but it did not eliminate the foul taste.

Makes water taste weird

I'm not sure how I feel about this bottle. I like how it packs away in small spaces with ease due to it being a malleable bag. It does have some structure as the top and bottom are more stiff than the sides are. You can keep it somewhat level when you're trying to pour into it. I don't like the flavor it imparts to the water. I wasn't expecting that. I have tried freezing with lemon water twice and leaving to thaw then replacing with filtered water. I'm kind of concerned about some sort of leach from whatever this thing is made from. For those concerned, it hasn't leaked and shouldn't leak by design - except for once due to my own user error when I didn't put the top on correctly.

Never received the product.

Never got to try the products. REI sent the two HydraPak products ordered to someone else. Instead, my package had two pairs of shoes in them...that would have been fine if they were in my size and probably cost 3X more than what I paid for my package. The clerk had difficulty fixing things, so I gave up in trying to get my products cleared and reordered. At least I got my funds back and the $20 dollars gift card back. By the time I gave up there were 10 people in line wanting to check out too. My two items were discounted at the time of my purchase and probably not to be seen again at that price. Hope that's not the case some day.

Flexible water container

Leakproof, flexible, packable, and pretty - but after a few hours it adds a strong plastic/synthetic chemical smell and taste that makes me throw out the water. Will return item.

Strong little water flask. Easy to fill

This was easy to travel with. Once past security i bought a large water, transferred half into the HydraPak and stowed for later. Doesn't leak. Filling is easy if you hold the external neck ring. This holds the HydraPak taught until filled. Rinse/wash several times before use so there is no after taste. It's a strong little water flask. Really like!

Stowable collapsible hydro flask

I bought this to keep Liquid IV hydro boost in my interior pocket of my ski jacket. It worked out perfectly in the cold and snowy mountains of Utah this March 2025. Very easy to fill and easy to use for a quick drink.

Useful

Very useful for skiing. The HydraPak Mountain Stow fits perfectly in a jacket pocket, doesn’t get in the way, and makes it easy to stay hydrated without carrying a rigid bottle. The only downside is that the water has a noticeable taste. I know the material is non-toxic, but my partner doesn’t enjoy drinking from it because of the flavor. That said, I would buy it again and I do recommend it, as it does exactly what it’s meant to do: provide an easy way to drink water on the mountain.

Wet Ski Day

Thought this would be a great bottle for skiing. While leaning over to buckle my boots I compressed the bottle. The lid let loose and flooded my pocket.

good to save space

excels in packing, being soft plastic, which badly affects the taste of drinking water
