Perfect length but locking carabiner poses a risk
This is my second purchase of this leash. Loved the first one (sadly lost), mostly because of the perfect 5’ length but also the quality construction. I replaced the locking carabiner with non locking version because I found it difficult to get the biner attached to the collar and was concerned about risk in a situation where I would need to get a leash on or off my dog quickly. For me, it takes two hands to hold the biner and then twist the locking mechanism. Unfortunately the newer model has a locking carabiner that is sewn in and not removable. Not sure why people want this but suppose I’m simply not the right demographic for this product.
