Water bottle cap and lid options
I Like the product. However, I personally do not like the cap and lid. I did purchase the other style lid/loop handle for this. Maybe YETI can create a drop down box on the website to give everyone options of different style lids/caps for the water bottles?
Perfect for heavy (water) drinkers
At first it felt too big, but a couple of days later, IT IS THE PERFECT SIZE ! (if you enjoy drinking lots of water)

Would buy another. Like the design. Perfect. The handle is great. Many have asked where I bought it.
Better than competitors
My expectations were that I would try this out but that no one had ever built a water bottle that could compare with my simple leakproof high capacity jug( a brand that’s been around and known for their water bottles). This bottle checks off every thing on my list including a two piece lid that allows me to clean well but comfortably drink. In a world of products we usually have to compromise a need / want in order to also have quality , this is the exception. I couldn’t be happier with the design and functionality .

Love Agave Teal and the tether cap
Agave Teal is my favorite Yeti color, and I’m also a huge fan of the tether cap (It’s fun to carry it by the loop). Being a larger bottle, it doesn’t fit into a cup holder, so one of the things I love most about it is that it’s completely leak proof and I can lay it on the passenger seat in the car and not worry about it leaking. I like to fill it up with mostly ice and take it work, so it does sweat a lot until the ice melts. It would probably help to use a sling for it to contain the condensation.
Perfect to encourage husband to hydrate!
The size, lightweight design, and overall aesthetic of the Chug has proven to be the best design for water consumption for the men in my life. My father and husband are always lacking hydration so I have been delighted to see them both using their Chug bottles to measure their intake! No complaining about weight or size anymore, plus it’s not a ‘girly’ color. Huge bonus that Yeti provides a discount for the military so we will always use Yetis for all of our hydration needs.
I like but don’t love
The bottle is aesthetically very pleasing. I was excited to see Yeti expand their brand with the plastic bottles and needed one because of the new metal detectors at work. Sadly, the ice melts pretty quickly.. which I guess is expected. But the worst is that none of the other caps work on this bottle. It takes a new different yeti lid which is unfortunate since I have every other style cap yeti makes. Otherwise, the bottle is very light and durable.
Holds onto smells
This item was advertised to be dish washer safe, however I ran it through the dish washer and cannot for the life of me get the soapy smell out. It’s making the water taste like soap and no matter how many times I soak it, the smell doesn’t go away. This material holds onto smells like no other. Very disappointing
For a thorough cleaning, we recommend removing the lid gasket and cap, which should both be washed and dried separately before reinstalling. Yeti Took Disney!
Bought for a Disney trip to make security easier and it worked perfectly. Good size for walking through the park and fit the bottle fill stations. Bottle itself is light, the loop makes a good hold point. Color is solid throughout without variations. It took a few bumps and didn't break.
Almost Perfect
Perfectly lightweight with a beautiful charcoal color. Unfortunately, this bottle uses its own unique cap so I can’t interchange with my current Yeti lids. Another annoyance was that this bottle showed major scratches on the curved edges after a single dishwasher session.
