HOW TO MEASURE:
Neck: Around the fullest part of the neck, at the base.
Chest: Around the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: From the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hip: Around the widest point of the hips.
Inseam: From the crotch to the anklebone on the inside of the leg.

Great warm base layer
Warm base layer. Good stretch, nice hood and thumbholes. Zipper feels comfortable next to my chin. Wish the sleeves were a bit longer so I could use the thumb holes without the sleeves pulling away from my arm. If the neck went up a bit farther it would cover my mouth and nose. It keeps my neck warm. I’m 5.8 with a 0 ape index and ordered a medium. Shoulders fit great and so does the length. Wish the sleeves were a bit longer and the width was a bit smaller. Maybe I should have ordered a men’s size small? Great warm mid layer.
Fit is snug, especially under the arms
I wanted this for a second layer, but it is too snug, especially the arm holes. So I ordered a smaller size and will use it for a base layer. (I'm 5'4" 110 pounds and both the small and medium were too snug for a 2nd layer, so I ended up with the XS for a base layer). The snug fit and thick fabric seem like the top will be toasty warm. Very solid thumb holes that seem like they will provide good warmth and hold up well. The fabric could be a little softer, but will probably repel some precipitation well. I LOVE the chest pocket!!
warm mid-layer
I have both this and the coefficient full zip hoody. This 1/4 zip is incredibly warm for its weight and breathes well. My only complaint is that the medium in this seems much tighter than the medium in the full zip hoody. Not a deal breaker, but I have to be more selective with my base layers. Otherwise, another great mid or base layer from black diamond.
Warm
Fuzzy on the inside and great venting with the front zipper. Pocket is big enough for a phone. The fabric is quite rough on the outside but seems like it’s intentional as it protects from a bit of precipitation.
Slim fit
This is form-fitting and comfortable. I am a little larger than usual this winter, but it still makes a great mid-layer. I found it very comfortable skinning, skiing, and hiking. Great color, too.
Great Quality!
Great quality sweatshirt, I have long arms and I found that just a few brands make their sweatshirts with long sleeves that fit perfectly good. Very comfortable base layer. G. Cooper
Good technical fleece
Surprisingly thin (I was hoping for it to be more of a comfortable, thicker fleece) but the works very well for running in colder temperatures. It dries very quickly and it’s light.
Favorite Base Layer
The high neck, thumb-holes, and chest pocket make this my go-to base layer for ski touring, winter runs, and days on piste.
