Perfect Down Jacket

For a month now, I've been wearing this jacket every day and I still can't find any downsides. Considering it's lightweight, it’s quite warm for cool weather. It fits perfectly on my shoulders and doesn’t restrict my movements during activities. The sleeve length is just right, and the jacket is slightly tapered at the waist, which adds comfort and highlights my shape. I chose it as a standalone piece for hiking and daily commuting, but it also works great for layering.

Love the jacket. Light fabric doesn’t work well

Great jacket, love the cerium without the hood so that I can use my storm hood outer layer during windstorms without discomfort/bunching of the mid layer. I always size up to a medium in the cerium, even though I’m a small in all other jackets. Sadly the Arctic silk doesn’t look good at all: the material is too thin and the dark feathers show through. Brand new out of the package this jacket looks dirty and poor quality, even though it’s neither of those things. Sadly, I’ll be returning the white and purchasing the black… would love some more colour options in future!

Fit issues / Lower quality that typical product

Bought to wear under shell jackets. Fit too tight in shoulders--usually Arc'teryx medium fits perfectly for me. If I went up a size it would be too bulky in shoulders. Also, if general did not have the overall quality feel of the typical Arc'teryx product (and I have bought a lot of them!) Had to return

Perf stashable puffy layer

The cerium is such a perfect middle ground between a reliable, warm layer and a packable emergency solution. Bought one a little oversized (with hood) as an outer most layer for colder shoulder season days at the crag and another one to proper size as an everyday for anything option. Love love.

Poor quality with very thin material.

I received the cerium jacket in color artic silk and was extremely dissappointed with the quality. The material was thin and see through. The dark feathers inside could be seen making the jacket look dirty with dark gray and black patches near the seams where the feathers bunched up.

Hi Alli, we appreciate your feedback and will pass this along to our design team for review. The reason why you see the dark-coloured goose down is that we do not dye our insulation and we use the down insulation in its natural form to maintain the warmth-to-weight ratio. There are times when our lighter-colored jackets will show some down through the outer fabric, rest assured this is not a defect.

Always in the backpack

I carry this jacket always with me as a "emergency" warm layer. It´s super lightweight and takes almost no space in the backpack and gives instant warmth
