LOVE everything about this jacket

Just got this jacket and LOVE it! Sad so many others had poor experiences because I think it’s the best jacket ever. I am usually a large but easily fit in a medium with room for sweater under it. I was never cold and I ski in New England! I love the short fit on it and the high neck /collar area that others complained about is fabulous as it covers your face well but you don’t feel smothered either. I get cold in my HH coat and this one was warm the whole day even with negative temps!

Unflattering Fit

I wanted to love this jacket, it was so warm it was like wearing a sleeping bag, but the fit was extremely unflattering. I typically wear an XS, but with ArcTeryx jackets these days I'm an XXS, I order both sizes to compare. Both jackets were too short in the front, when I lifted my arms overhead my waist was exposed (even with the powder skirt snapped). It fit boxy and wide and felt like it was swallowing me whole. I’m not sure who this jacket was designed for, but they missed the mark.

Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the Andessa Down Jacket. We’re sorry the fit didn’t meet your expectations. While the warmth is one of its strengths, the jacket is intentionally designed with a more cropped front length compared to other styles, which can feel boxy or leave the waist exposed when arms are raised, even with the powder skirt engaged. We understand how disappointing that can be, especially when you were hoping for a flattering, secure fit, and your feedback about sizing and proportions is invaluable for our design team as they refine future products.

Low value vs price

I do not like it. It is not comfortable- especially the part near the face and the bottom. Too Michelin style also…You look twice your size. Expected better value for the price

Hello Doro, thank you for sharing your feedback on the Andessa Down Jacket. We’re sorry to hear that the fit and comfort did not meet your expectations, particularly around the face and hem. The Andessa is designed as a highly insulated alpine piece, which can feel bulkier due to the premium down fill intended for extreme cold-weather protection. We understand that this style may not suit everyone’s preferences, and we truly value your input as it helps us refine future designs. If you’d like, our team would be happy to recommend alternative jackets that balance warmth with a slimmer profile to better match your needs.

Warmest ever!

This is hands down the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned. Love the cozy fit. Nothing I would change about it!
