Great Idea But Has one Design Weakness

This is a great idea, but there is one weakness that prevents it from being a 5 star. The clamp used to secure it to the chair is a little weak. When the shade is adjusted, the clamp is stressed and loosens up. this causes it to slip down the chair. If there were a positive clamp (like a screw tightening) it would keep it in place and make it perfect. That said, it will provide shade as the fabric is good for SPF50. Folds up easily enough, but I can see this coming off during repeated adjustment or a good wind.

Makes no sense.

This shade is a common sense concept with a nonsensical flaw. I tried to use this with the REI Camp Boss chair. It will clamp onto the chair momentarily, but then it slides down and there is no way to tighten it, making it useless. Why the clamps don't twist or tighten makes no sense. It would seem like an easy solution to turn this product into something useful.
