Chalk dries out without use
Chalk dries out while sitting in the tube. I don't use that much chalk so it took me a couple months before I had to replace a puck in my chalk bag. The first puck was great, really soft and good at drying my hands. The second puck has super dry, hard to break, and didn't dry my hands nearly as well. The cardboard is not a good medium for storing this chalk
Doesn't match the hype
Very disappointing. Only good thing about this product is the packaging can be recycled. Sadly, like all Friction Labs products I've tried, the reality doesn't match the hype. I'll continue with my products from Rock Technologies who appear to have the best products on the market. I just wish REI would stock this brand!!
Worth a try
Compared to other chalk blocks (Frank Endo) these discs are denser and the chalk feels more fine, which provides my finger tips with longer lasting dryness. The discs are small than I thought they would be so not the best value for the price.
