Inexpensive but great quality. Super sharp blade is worry free stainless steel. Stroger and more secure than a similar sized folding knife. Rubberized grip fits my hand perfectly. simple plastic sheath holds knife securely but easy to pull knife out when needed, and easily and quickly attached to belt, pack belt, or clothing. very lightweight and easily packable. Bright Orange color is hard to misplace (Do not set it down in Autumn Leaves or Red Rocks however!) You can spend a lot more and get less knife. I keep an orange one in my grab and go box and a Brown/black one in my daypack.
I have many Morakniv knives that are wonderful, but this one had a horribly ground edge. I returned it.
Bought this to have fresh fruit on a trip
I found this knife arrived sharp and with a good edge on it. The extra heft and feel of the full tang sure makes a difference compared to a typical folding blade knife. I'm proud to own this and am thinking of getting a few more. For the money, it sure is a good value!
As with my two previous Moras, it arrived shaving sharp right out of the box unlike some brands that take a few hours on a stone to get a good edge. It has a very comfortable non-slip grip and is super light to carry. Although I generally prefer a leather sheath, this one is very durable and secures the knife well.
Morakniv makes amazing knives! You can't go wrong with the Companion or the Eldris. They are both awesome knives. Legendary company. Get one!
Great knife. Very sharp out of the box and kept the edge after some light bushcrafting!
Cant beat the price and quality for stainless blade. All around a great camp blade!
For $15 you get a good amount of quality steel and a comfy, ergonomic handle. There are nicer knives out there, but for what you're paying it's hard to beat this. The size is more than adequate for anything you might need it for.
Love the knife, and Ultra-light weight, but have lost 2 of them popping out of the holster... Needs better retention to keep it in the holster
