Top Tier Backpacking Short
Outstanding pant. I like the zippered pockets for extra security. Material is breathable and flexible. Could go rock climbing, running, hiking, swimming, or just out and about with these pants which makes them excellent for backpacking/limited carry travel. The built in belt will not win style points but it does eliminate the need to bring one along hypothetically- though this will likely be negated by other pants needing a belt. Can take some getting used to taking off and putting on as the belt limits how wide the waist can open.
Front fly hook-and-loop opening = no fly Zipper
Front fly hook-and-loop opening = no zipper for your fly. Who thought that was a good idea? They make it look like it has a zipper but unless you read the fine details you will miss this configuration. It has two deep front zippered pockets and one pocket in the rear with a flap
