Picked up these shorts around Memorial Day and have been wearing them ever since. Waist is a 33 and the mediums fit perfectly without having to adjust the belt. I seriously train my legs and many shorts do not fit my glutes/quads for that reason. The relaxed fit is perfect, mesh pockets are very functional, fabric is stretchy/durable/breathable, and the 7’ length hits a few inches above the knee. My only gripe is the back Velcro pocket…you need two hands to open it (it’s very secure). I actually removed the stitching hook part of Velcro and it’s much better now. I hope future versions have a zipper instead. GET EM!
Great shorts, but built in belt was too long…almost reached down to my knee. I cut the belt off to appropriate length and then it started fraying…hoping duct tape will stop fraying!
As a female with a larger mid-section, I really like these shorts! The adjustable waist is just what I need to be able to fit my stomach while still being loose on the thighs. The material is so stretchy and I can see myself adventuring in these all summer. I'm a 42" hip and a 32" waist, and I bought the Medium. I think I could have gone down to a Small, but am happy with the mediums.
Heavier material that will stand up for anything. Deep pockets. I purchased 2 pairs for my spouse specifically for the elastic waist and built in belt so these actually fit compared with a specific size of 42 (too tight). Sizes with elastic that stretch to a 46 are too big, so these are perfect for him. Would be nice if a cargo pocket was added .
Satisfies most of my needs and expectations for this style of short but for one problem. The rear pocket is virtually inoperable because of the use of an excessive amount of velcro to secure the flap. Attempting to open it while wearing is beyond frustrating. Also, I would have preferred a mesh liner.
These shorts are extremely comfortable and work on the trail or around town. I love the built in belt with the elastic waist. These have quickly become my favorite shorts. I would prefer the legs to be a bit narrower, and would love a 6 inch inseam but otherwise these are perfect.
Loooooooove these shorts. They are like a more formal version of the patagonia baggies but equally comfortable (if not more). Daily wear, wish there were way more colors in the 5" length. Skies out thighs out yenno. Prana lmk when you drop more colors and I'll buy em all.
Love my new Stretch Zion Pull On Shorts. They are very similar to Stretch Zion Pants and Shorts. But without the zipper. I guess the belt could be 1 inch shorter because when I cinch them in, the excess belt is kinda long. like 10 inches maybe. But still 5 out of 5.
I've got hurt feelings Prana. I want a small mens size to fit my supposedly average healthy build, 5'9" ~145 lbs, but I'm swimming in these. Offer an XS at least. Otherwise color is good (though limited options) and I like the feel of these.
They are a bit loose in the thighs for my likes so I only wear them to sleep in, but they are very good quality. I'm an old guy and I think the younger generations probably like the looser fit better? Not sure.
