How do you even put this on?
This dress is actually a skort, and it has a small neckhole. How do you even put this on?! I received it, and it was like a Jenga puzzle trying to put it on. Cute in the picture, but ridiculously designed. If it was a skirt and not a skort, it would make sense. I sent it back immediately.
Nice looking, but not a practical design
I bought this to take on vacation. The fit of it is lovely and flattering, but oops.. I neglected to read the description carefully. I was surprised to see that it has a full body suit with shorts underneath the dress, totally defeating the purpose of a dress! It is hard to get on and off as you have to step into it and pull the top over your shoulders. Like a super tight bathing suit. So to have to do it to go to the bathroom multiple times a day, forget it! I thought about cutting the shorts off, but the liner is sewn in all the way up to the straps and not sure if the rest of the liner would fray and or bunch up. I really did like it and was so disappointed. It is not practical and I sent it back.
Not the best fit
I’m 5’ 2”, 130lbs average/ petite, I ordered size Small. The top portion of the dress is too long. If you have a long torso, this dress would be great! It’s super lightweight even though it has a full body suit underneath. There is a small pocket on the left hip of the shorts with a top flap to keep things secure. I prefer an open pocket. It isn’t the easiest to get into, it would be easier if the dress had a different neckline. I’d like to try the XS, but I’m worried it’ll be too tight.
Fail for short girls
The clay earth color is phenomenal but the XS fit is awful. I'm 5'1 with a smaller chest and athletic build. I had no issues putting the dress on but the hem was basically down to my knees and there was extra weird material for someone with a larger chest, I've never seen anything like this in exercise clothes. Really wish they had petite sizing, this will be returned.
Cute but…
When the dress arrived, I thought it was super cute. First, let’s talk about getting the dress on. The only way to do so is pulling it up from your feet, over the butt, and over your shoulders. Only one problem ~ I lift heavy and have broad shoulders. Nearly tore the dress trying to get it on and back off. I had sized up because I don’t like a tight fit. Overall fit was good. Next problem that was probably due to me not reading the description… the only way to go to the bathroom is pull the whole thing back down over the shoulders, butt, etc. Are you kidding me? So if I wear this for hiking, and nature calls, I have to get completely naked to go to the bathroom! So I gave it 2 stars for the overall look and fit, but otherwise it is very poorly designed. I’m bummed!

Nonsense design unwearable
Unfortunately I have not been yet able to try this dress on because, unfortunately, there is something g. Wry wrong with its design. I am a size XL and I purchased the dress in the size XL, however, there is no way to get into it since the k my way to wear it is by entering from the neck or arms opening which are substantially smaller that the hip and waist size of the dress itself. What a nonsense and frustrating experience!
Cute, flattering, comfortable
I love this dress- so comfortable, the fabric is super soft and stretchy. There is a side pocket on the inside shorts that makes carrying things convenient. I am 5'10, 153lb and got a medium. Once on, it fits perfectly. Only criticism is getting the neck hole over my butt and shoulders is quite the procedure. I wish that stitching had been made stretchier!
Wonderful dress but right on my shoulders
Love these dresses with shorts. I have two others in a different style:) But this style is difficult to get on and off for me. I am 5’9, 145. I bought a large in all 3 dresses but this style is very tight going over my shoulders (which are wide). I’m afraid I’ll rip it. The other two dresses in same size work great!
Mountain Hardwear "Dress"
I guess the designers at Mountain Hardware think I won't have to use the bathroom. The dress part was nice...but a full compression body suit underneath it?? The sales clerk said it's to give a "slimming effect". I'm 5-ft tall, weigh 90 lbs and wear an xs, so how much of a "slimming effect" do I really need.
