Cute and comfy
I love this dress! I used it on a grueling backpacking trip in Kauai! It protected me from the sun, was nice and light in the humidity, and so easy to move around in. I wore a pair of shorts under it and it was perfect. Also loved the light sun color! I bought it in another color and also bought one as a Christmas gift for someone else! I did size up based on another review I read, and I was glad I did so. Def recommend this product!
Runs very small, color is off, no pockets
The fabric is a bit thicker than other crater lake items, but that's ok. The fit, however, is much slimmer. I have a size large CL hoodie that is comfortably loose even with a layer under it, but this dress in XL was very tight through arms, chest, shoulders, and belly. Bummer, have to return it. Also it is much more of a true blue, the pictures online make it look turquoise but it's not. Pockets would have been nice too.
Runs small, fabric is heavy, no pockets
I wanted to love this dress, but nothing was quite right with it. I usually wear xl in Mountain Hardwear for a loose comfy fit. The xl dress was skin tight in the arms and belly. The fabric is much denser/heavier than other Crater Lake items I have. No pockets?????? Also the blue color looks a lot prettier and more turquoise than in real life.
MATERIAL IS MUCH THICKER THAN ALL OTHER CRATER LAKE PRIDUCTS
The fabric is NOTHINH like all the other Crater Lake products I have purchased (hoodies, tanks, 3/4 zips, long sleeves, Ts, or neck gaiters). The fabric is thick and feels binding. Compared to the other Crater Lake products that I love, this is terrible and I hate it.
Quality and flattering fit
Great quality, flattering fit, and super comfortable. Loved the blue one so much, I also ordered the yellow. I’m 52, 5’2, 135 lbs, and the size medium fits perfectly: It’s loose/not stretched across my body but the cut is contoured, so it is not boxy. Love it.
Love this dress
I have this dress in the blue and love it .. it is more a cooler weather dress as the material is a bit heavier than the crater lake sunshirt .. but that’s fine ..
NO POCKETS?!?
What in the world were the designers thinking -- a hoodie tunic WITH NO POCKETS?!?! Nice fabric, decent fit, but I returned it. Seriously, add some pockets.
