great pants; love all fleetwith!
I love the Fleetwith fabric. I own a few Fleetwith jumpsuits and dresses (old and new style) so I figured I'd try the pants also. The size S fits me perfectly, but I am returning it. They are almost exactly the same as the Eddie Bauer departure ankle pant. The length is the same, the legs fit the same, and the material feels very similar. Except the EB pant fits my midsection just a tad better and is more flattering on me. The Fleetwith pant is high waisted with a full elastic waist while the EB has a flat panel on the front that makes the front a little more flattering imo. The Fleetwith pant comes up about an inch higher on my waist than the EB, and since I have a short torso, that inch makes a difference for me. I do like them, but since I have a dupe that's more flattering and comfortable on me, I will be returning these. But they're still amazing pants, especially if you want the higher waistline. These would be great for hiking in the summer, or for travel. IME the fleetwith material is stronger and more durable than it feels. It dries quickly and is water repellent, as well as breathable.
