Great daily use water bottle!
This is a great daily use water bottle. This size bottle is perfect for casual hydration and drink mixes. I like to use powder pack drink mixes but hate it when a plastic bottle holds on to flavors. None of that with this bottle! The opening of the bottle fits all “regular” sized ice cubes I tried and the insulated bottle kept water ice cold for hours in direct sun at the lake. I prefer the screw top for easier cleaning and the moving/fold down loop handle is a nice touch. The vibrant color helps it stand out from the pack at work.
Perfect water bottle for daily outings
Love this water bottle! The slim design means it tucks into my backpack easily but it still holds 20oz. Keeps why water cold all day. The loop handle makes it easy to carry and the cap seals well, even when the bottle ends up upside down for a lot of the day. I also appreciate how easy it is to screw/unscrew the lid—the threads aren’t as fussy as other brands of bottle I’ve used. Lastly, I love the marigold color and the texture of the bottle—it’s easy to grip and the yellow makes it harder to lose.
Goes with me (almost) everywhere!
This is my new daily beverage carrier for good reason. The capacity is perfect, the large opening allows me to easily add ice or even chunks of fresh fruit, and the carrying loop is great for attaching the container to anything via a small carabiner. The insulating capability is top notch. On recent days with temperatures in the high 90s I still had ice at the end of long days and into the next morning. Tea has stayed warm for nearly the same length of time. The container fits my car holder, disc golf bag, kayak holder and day pack. While it is lighter than other insulated containers I own it is not light enough to make the the cut for ultralight backpacking or trekking. However, I may carry it empty on some treks to fill with purified water while camped, especially in areas with cold springs or glacial streams. Cold water that keeps cold for long periods of time is a luxury on the trail but one worth the extra weight. On a recent day trip to pick peaches in 95 degree weather with high humidity it was great to have a sufficient quantity of ice cold water.
Handy insulated bottle
This is a handy insulated water bottle. Functionally, given the vacuum design, it is great at keeping drinks cold or hot for a good amount of time. I used it while vacationing for over a week on a day-to-day basis. It was often in direct sunlight 85 degree weather for several hours at a time and my drink remained quite cold. The slim dimensions are nice, as it fits in the water bottle holder on my bike. I also like the slightly textured surface, as it makes it less likely I might drop it. The one minor downside for me is the shape of the opening if drinking directly from it. Several times I accidentally spilled some of the drink on my face because of the shape. But, I'll definitely continue to use it. The metal loop top is nice for use as a handle and the swing to it has just enough friction such that it doesn't swing freely on its own, so you don't get any clanking noise from it if you are holding the bottle on its side while walking. Overall, it seems quite durable and I hope to use it for years to come.
A great little insulated water bottle!
This is a great insulated water bottle – it keeps water COLD for hours, even in the sun! – thats best suited for short walks/hikes, poolside, or during yoga classes or the like. I've already taken it to silent discoes, riverside swimming docks and on short casual bike rides. However, its fairly small 20oz capacity does mean that it's not as useful during longer activities unless you have access to refills. I do love the easy-open wide mouth lid, which makes it easy to add ice and also chug water when you're HOT. I presume it would also do an excellent job at keeping drinks hot in the colder months: the insulation really seems to do an excellent job. The metal loop on the lid is ideal for clipping onto a carabiner or gear loop on your bag or pack, or just holding onto as you walk or move. The slim design means it also fits easily to side pockets, so there's multiple ways to carry your beverage with you.
Checks all the boxes, and does so in style
Keeps cold stuff cold? Check. Keeps hot stuff hot? Check. Leak-free liquid transport? Check! I have been daily driving a non-insulated Kleen Kanteen bottle of roughly the same size for several years, so I was excited for the opportunity to try out this insulated version. After a couple weeks of use carrying both ice water and hot coffee in my shoulder bag on my regular bike commute, I can confidently say that this insulated version performs great as a sealed bottle with the added bonus of maintaining temperature. I'm particularly glad that they kept the same slender footprint with this version (They're the exact same diameter). It slides easily into the side water bottle pocket of my bag, and fits nicely in a cup holder, despite being double-walled. It's a little taller than the non-insulated version, but not unreasonably so. For comparison, I included photo if this insulated 20-oz bottle (in yellow), side-by-side with my old 18-oz non-insulated bottle (stainless) and a smaller 16-oz (smaller size) polycarbonate bottle from a brand we all know and love.
Great Insulated Water Bottle
I really enjoy using this water bottle for short hikes and daily use. The shape of the 20 oz. bottle allows for use in most standard cupholders (like in a car). The taller profile also allows for ease of use in most of the bags I own. The bottle insulated really well in my usage. I used it on short day hikes in the Pacific Northwest and let the bottle sit in a hot vehicle exposed to the summer sun. On both instances, the water inside was left plenty cold while maintaining a good amount of the ice. The cap has a good seal and was simple to take on and off. My only con is the handle on the cap. The handle is a thin metal and if I didn't have a bag to carry it in, the weight of the water bottle would dig into my fingers a bit. Otherwise, this bottle is a great one!
Perfect fit!
Big fan of this bottle. It is a full 20 oz but it is slimmer than many of its counterparts. This bottle fits great in the bottle holder of my bag but more importantly in the cup holders in my truck. I have an awkward spot in the door for bottles. Most don’t fit but this one is spot on. If you are a ford Maverick owner this bottle is for you.
Good size, fits in backpack and cupholder.
Bought this water bottle to hold water and ice coffee. The shape holds a good amount of water while still fitting in the cup holder in my car - an issue Ive found with larger water bottles. It also fits nicely into the water bottle holders on my various backpacks, again an issue Ive had with wide mouth water bottles and other larger bottles.
Ice Cold
My son and I are very active throughout the hot summer. This bottle is extremely durable. It keeps ice in our water for a full day. The water itself stays cold as ice for 2 full days. Hits the spot on hot days!
