warm, functional
Honestly, this jacket is so comfortable to slip into. This is not a jacket I would use so much for day to day use in the dead of winter, but I think will be perfect for any winter recreational activities (so things that have me moving while wearing it). The back is breathable with the merino wool paneling, and the other insulation covers the entire front, hood portion, and down top of the sleeves circling around the wrists (which I appreciate). The hood does feel a bit large without wearing a helmet with it. Would have been nice to have a cinch or something if using without a helmet. Otherwise really like the product and plan to use for various outdoor activities during the winter!
Great light coat jacket or mid layer!
Very comfortable and movable jacket. I’ve been using this as a light layer this fall and early winter in temps ranging from high 30s to low 50s and it has been great! It will layer well under my ski jacket or down coat this winter during harsher temps. The sleeves are long enough for my arms and there’s a lot of room for shoulder movement which is sometimes hard to find. I like the breast pocket that zips as it fits my phone and slim wallet. I also really like that all pockets have a zipper to keep my items secure. I did wear it out in a light sprinkle and it wasn’t the most water resistant so that’s something to keep in mind. Overall I love this jacket and is going to be a regular wear in my closet!
Hybrid jacket, good for just about any active wear
Amazing lightweight jacket for just about any outside adventure. Appears like a “puffy” but the inside of the arms and the back share a very breathable and stretchy fabric which makes this piece forfeit for those on the go. Easy warmth, without sacrificing movement and the need to keep going at a comfortable temp. I found the jacket was true to size for a jacket, giving just enough room for a good layer or two underneath. This was important for me taking it hiking through the cold/wet PNW rainforest in December. Note: Definitely not water resistant, so active rain will require a different outer layer.
Lightweight warmth
I’ve been using this layer on road and trail runs and I’ve been happily surprised by its warmth for weight. I’ve used it down to 30 degrees and stayed toasty, I think it will continue to work for me as temps drop. The merino back panel adds nice stretch and helps me cool off when I stop running. I like merino arm panels to reduce smelliness too. On drizzly days I add a breathable rain jacket or it wets out quickly. I think it will be great for Nordic skiing with the stretch and breathability, but I’m waiting on snow to test that! I love the large pockets and the hood fits me perfect. There are no hood adjustments, but that hasn’t bothered me.
