I ordered a S/M based on the size recommendations on your website. L/XL is the on that fits. Would say that L/XL fits like a typical knit hat. S/M is child's size.
Comfortable and comes in sizes
Comfortable and it fits. I have a 7 3/4 head and the L/XL fits nicely, maybe even a little big.
REI Trailmade beanie
Bought this beanie for its low profile, i.e. no roll over cuff. It is soft on the head, not scratchy, and plenty warm. If you want more coverage and a bit more beanie on top there are other options. This one fit just right on my not so large noggin. Would buy again.
Great beanie!
This beanie is an outstanding value! The L/XL fits perfectly my large head. We keep the thermostat set pretty low in the winter; so, I wear this beanie in the house to keep warm. It will be a perfect addition to your backpack for camp. Definitely would buy again.

Reversable Hat
I misplaced my regular hat & replaced it with this reversable one from REI. It's warm, soft & comfortable. I have since found my regular hat but am choosing to wear the new one instead.
