This thing is wicked awesome.
Built like a tank but light as can be. Just the right size. Durable. Compact. Won't beat-uu your vehicle or the rest of your gear in transport. Bomb-proof case with a comfy handle. Ever grab a carton of milk in the fridge, expecting it to be half-full but slam it into the roof of your fridge because your children drank it all and the carton weighs close to nothing? Me too. Had the same experience at a local propane filling station. The attendant went to move the X-Comp Growler, expecting it to be heavy but lifted it to shoulder height in amazement. They wished EVERYONE switched to these Growlers! Cost me $7 to fill it.
Probably wonderful, but its a Viking Cylinder
Do shop around, this Ignik cylinder looks exactly like the composite cylinder manufactured by Viking Cylinders for a fraction of the cost. It would appear that Ignik adds a sticker and a nice carry case with the >$200 markup. I am shopping around for a compact/lightweight cylinder for use in winter camping and wanted to share what I found. Good luck.
