Ignik 3.8L growler tank - burn ban proof!
We used the ignik on a recent camping trip. Filled it up with propane at a local UHaul store without any problem. It appears that U-Haul store crews are well experienced with igniks. They filled up the tank exactly as shown in the manual that came with the tank from REI. Thank God for the ignik! we have a reliable and safe way to cook and have a wonderful time around the fire pit. Highly recommended camping essential!

We wanted to switch from disposable propane tanks to a small refillable tank. This fits the bill perfectly. It's so easy to use with our Coleman stove. The carrying case makes transporting and storing it a breeze.

These are the best. If you use the disposable green cans you should just stop and buy one of these. It’s a much more affordable way to buy propane. Filling the 1 gallon tank is less expensive than 1 of the green canisters. And it’s better for the environment. Just do it!
Efficient growler with reduced waste
This growler is the perfect addition to our camp setup. I appreciate generating less waste by having a refillable tank and it connected to our stove easily with no issues. The carrying case with handle helps store everything together and transports easily.

This was exactly what we needed for our beach camping trip with the scouts. Ran a small turkey fryer for multiple meals with no challenges. MUCH better than trying to lug a full 20lb tank.
Good but not great (in my experience)
I originally bought the 3.8 tank, but exchanged it for the 5.0. The reason for the upgrade is that I also bought the Ignik Fire Can Deluxe for an upcoming camping trip. Bought this refillable LP tank for ice fishing adventures and for the grill on our sailboat. It’s the perfect size and rids me of the guilt of throwing green bottles in the trash. Gives me several days of ice house heat. The tote is a bonus.
