Slight flaw ruined my chances owning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the jacket. The fit was a little tight in shoulders. The biggest problem was the zipper kept getting stuck in one place. It would catch the inner sewn material and stop the zipper. Happened each time I used the zipper. I think it's a flaw in the jacket but can't confirm cause I didn't reorder another.

Really excellent rain jacket for all types of climates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bougth for trip to WA, glad i did as the weather in Seattle was gloomy for a week, rain and cold. jacket totally kept me dry with a mid-layer undershirt. totally loving it so far. I store this jacket in my backpack for carryon trips. I would not change anything, but I must tell you it is true to fit.

Runs small

Great, well made jacket. Got a great deal from REI. I normally wear XL but the deal was for XXL. I did want the extra size for layering during snow adventures. But what came was more XL size even though it says XXL.

Quality of North Face has fallen off a cliff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've noticed a big downward turn in NF quality. This jacket doesn't have anyway to tighten the cuffs, the bottom of the jacket doesn't even have elastic. Not even a loop to hang the jacket.

No, I do not recommend this product
