Amazing trousers
Love these leggings/trousers. Super comfy, great shape, flattering. I bought a short pair and was initially sent regular which were far too long as I knew they would be, returned and got the short ones on my second attempt. Only reason for four not five stars is that at 157cm even the short length are too long, I can wear them and tie them up with the cords if it's raining but they will end up scuffed at the bottom. Like a lot of people have said they definitely fit on the "snug" side, I usually buy large and the large in this trouser are fine and I suppose the snugness is what makes them sculpted but they're definitely not loose! Still, love them, going to wear them all the time, even for work.
Too long in the leg (5 ft 5"), too high at waist
I am 5' 5" and 105 pounds and while the M fits well it is uncomfortable for me to wear such high waisted pants. Also the material feels way to thin for my liking and the length too long-- I practically trip on these pants when barefoot inside. I wish they offered different lengths for that reason. A one length fits all doesn't work for different heights and also some have longer legs and others shorter legs. The elastic thing at the bottom looks ridiculous when you use it to prevent the pants from dragging and make the leg balloon out in a funny way . There is a good return policy but I will instead give it to one of my daughters who doesn't mind the high waisted stuff and whose legs are a bit longer than mine. I then bought a size up and not happy with that either but will review separately.
waist adjustment problematic and length too long
When the M of this style did not suit me at the waist, (not a fan of high waisted) I ordered the L so I could wear the pants a bit lower. Unfortunately the waist adjustment cord is on the inside of the garment and it was unclear how to tighten it. I made a knot but this was uncomfortable against my abdomen. I don't know why this isn't on the outside of the garment with some kind of clasp to hold it in place or even a shoe lace type tie in the front. Probably will make do and just wear around the house but again it is too long and when barefoot it drags on the floor . I am 5 feet 5" and 105 pounds and they really should offer different lengths but they don't. I could get it altered I suppose or maybe take it somewhere to get the waist adjusted but seems a lot of extra expense for an already expensive product. And like I said on my review of the medium in this style, the material seems very thin and not very warm in the spring, summer and fall.
The most flattering style yet!
I cannot believe how amazing I feel in these trousers, the leggings material offers so much support and shaping while the flares compliment my curves so well - I cannot get enough of them! They are true to size, I am a 14-16 and opted for a size L. While they are long I found the 30" option still fits me at 5'2/5'3" so long as I'm not wearing completely flat shoes (perfect with trainers for example but not pumps). Overall - I cannot recommend these enough to anyone who will listen!
Can find better for less $$
Not as soft as I expected for the price. Also cut a little short which makes them less flattering than similar pants I have from brands like Athleta or the REI brand. Will sadly be returning.
Mixed feelings
I have very mixed feelings about these leggings, I used to live in flared yoga pants and I’ve been trying to find a new pair ever since they came back into fashion but it’s super hard to find a pair that fit when you’re under 5ft. Even in the short I still have to pull them up so they don’t drag, I love them and they’re comfy so I’ll keep them for at home yoga but won’t be able to wear them to the gym like I’d hoped. Please bring out a shorter length, 30” is not short enough :(
Not for me
I have numerous Lululemon Luon Groove pants from a few years ago and I am always on the lookout for similar bootcut style leggings. I had high hopes for these and the style was great, but for me, the material was too lightweight and shiny so that every thigh dimple was visible! I would prefer a more substantial, matt material. I am usually a small in sweaty Betty (5’5” and 9 stone) but think perhaps a medium would have been more forgiving. Regular leg length was perfect though.
So much better than leggings
I’m getting a little bit bored with leggings and it’s great to have an alternative that is flattering and that looks good. These boot cut gym pants are my go-to for yoga, roller skating, and leisure. They are true to size and fit like a dream. I’d love a couple of side pockets as the zip pocket at the back is fine for keys etc but a touch too small for a phone but otherwise they are pretty near perfect. It would be nice if they were available in other colours too.
The best bum sculpt bootleg trousers
I was hesitant on these because of the price however these really are great. I live in the power leggings and wanted something a bit different so these powers are great. I’m only 5”3 but they really make the leg look longer and slimmer ( win win when have put on some menopause weight!!! ) Nice material which is squat proof, no see through material here with powers!! Extremely comfortable waistband and easy to wash and wear again without the need of ironing
Style and comfort for hybrid working
Just love these! I bought them for everyday wear not for the gym, as part of my hybrid working wardrobe. I think the legs are too loose from knee down for most activity. For the wider hipped of us, these provide a balanced look. They don’t look like you are wearing your gym gear but they bring the structure, comfort and super soft material of powers. I sized up to a large because I didn’t want the compression particularly and they are great.
