These Stay Put!
I like these leggings. Normally I wear Beyond Yoga for yoga, gym workouts and Pilates, but I got tired of always tugging at the waist to keep them up. These leggings have a gentle compression fit and they stay put at the waistline. The fabric has a nice silky feel. They are longer than the usual legging so they cover your ankle. The Black Heather color is more like a deep grey than black. I am 5'6" tall at 130 pounds and I chose a Medium. Snug but comfortable and just right. Pockets are great! I will be ordering another pair.
Love love love these leggings!
I love these leggings! I will say, I totally understand the reviews of them feeling too tight initally BUT after one or two wears, they completely mold to your body and fit perfectly, trust me. I have such a hard time finding leggings that stay up on my waist because I am fairly curvy and have a small waist. Not only do I love the feel of these for lounging, but I've tried them for both spin bike and yoga and they stay up better than nearly any other pair of leggings I own. I just wish the black heather was more black, it's a dark grey in person and that the pockets sat slightly lower on the legs but they're still functional as is.
TERRIBLE POCKETS!!
I would’ve loved these leggings if it weren’t for the pockets. You can’t use the pockets, tried putting my phone in & it hurts my leg. Confused, I checked the construction and instead of adding extra fabric outside to allow for the pocket to be used, it’s constructed inside the legging so it takes space away from your leg. The seam for the pocket is also against your skin the entire time. Not comfortable at all. Makes the entire legging feel tight & restricted in the pocket area. I am returning, to exchange for the pockless legging even though I really needed leggings with pockets for hiking. The material is thicker & soft. Comfy for lounging or cool weather but not for summer.
Odd sizing
These Pranas are really tight in the ankle, to the point of being hard to put on and off. The top of the pants, however, fit like a medium and would not stay up. I always wear a small (5'6" - 120 lbs. small-boned, small ankles.)
Not my favorite
I love the pockets, but the fit is a little awkward. I’m 5’5.5”, 125lbs and purchased the XS based on reviews. I never wore a XS in prana for the past 15+ years. The leggings are still a little too long and bunch up behind the knees which is a little annoying. They also fit kinda weird around the tush. Even though the fit is tight, I feel like I have to pull them up occasionally and there’s no shape around the tush. Otherwise, they fit well/snug and I like the thicker soft fabric. Grey color is ok.
No waist tie--there's not even elastic in the waist.
What were they thinking? There is no way to cinch these pants up. If you have any curves what so ever, any tummy, rear, hips, forget about it, they will never stay up. I can't believe everyone isn't complaining about this. Stay put waist band is laughable. Stay put where? Around my ankles? The only way these would stay put is if you put them on and then lay on the couch like a statue for the duration of the wear. Yes, they are super soft--imagine that with no waist band string or elastic,.....
excellent quality leggings
I was happily surprised with these leggings unbelievably soft, comfortable and well made. 5/5 rating, delivered fast. I’m a big fan of PrAna clothing I have several hiking pants that are now 30 years old and in perfect condition.
They’ll do but they’re not my favorite
I purchased these leggings after finding that my beloved style is no longer available. I focused only on waist height and pockets - clearly missing the fact that these are the “soft, buttery” leggings rather than the sleek/slippery leggings that I was replacing. I ordered my usually size and have to pull them up quite a bit. I take responsibility for not reading specifications on material but the constant readjusting is still annoying. The color is also more of a blue-grey than grey.
Overall a nice pair of leggings
The discontinued Beska 7/8 legging was my favorite so I gave these a try since they seem the most similar. The fabric is completely different. It's thicker than the beska, very soft and extremely stretchy... so stretchy that feet get caught putting them on. The waistband is non-binding and they are very comfortable. However the fabric does seem to get smelly faster. I don't mind the higher pocket placement. Overall a nice pair of leggings, but I still want the pocket Beska back.
Too sheer
I've been searching for a new go to leggings beyond my Kimble and becksa pants. These are made of a nice material, but felt similar to the blazing star material. It didn't feel like some new revolutionary legging. But they were comfortable and I thought they could be worn beyond yoga. But they didn't pass the bend over test, I got the cool dusk color, so I returned them. I probably would have kept them if they weren't see through.
