I'm 5'6, 120lbs, semi-athletic build, narrow shoulders, not real curvy, long torso. This was disappointingly unflattering on my body. Fit fine, like aligned with my shoulders and natural waist, but way more billowy than shows in the pictures. Completely hides the waistline I do have, and makes my shoulders/torso look much wider than they are. Oh the sleeves are also super short, which I would have overlooked and just called them 3/4 sleeves, except I'm returning it and should include that detail here. Bummer because it feels really high quality and seemed like there was so much potential. Might look better on a different body type.

Of the three dresses I got for “winter” (though this isn’t very heavy, it’s way more a fall or spring season dress) this was my fave. Got it in the dark/gray and it will be perfect for Thanksgiving with leggings, boots, and a big duster type sweater. I almost returned it just for a quality control issue as along the collar were loose seam threads that looked very bad and poorly made, but I snipped them with nail scissors and it’s passable, so I kept it. Maybe I will regret that but it’s so cute I didn’t want to risk not having my size available for a reorder. I am 5’7”, 130lbs, and a small size is perfect.

She likes it. My wife wore this dress several times on our recent trip to greenland and iceland. nice fit and useful pockets.

5’3”, 155# 34D, typically size 8/M, hourglass runner/power yoga bod with big butt and thighs… Flannel obsessed here, and usually flannel dresses are sack dresses that are just like an oversized shirt that buttons all the way down. The neck is a low V, but you can wear a necklace (or maybe the Prana Becksa bralette!). The waist is supposed to blouse out, so it doesn’t hit low (I am quite short waisted). It also has a drawstring to help accentuate a small waist. Do NOT be afraid to try this dress if the reviews have been holding you back!

This dress is cute. The fabric is thick and good quality. I ordered a small and a medium as I am often between sizes. The small fits perfectly. The medium looks frumpy. I am going to keep the small, and wash it carefully since it is 100% cotton. Curious if anyone else has had issues with the dress shrinking a lot after washing?? The other option would be to keep the medium and try to shrink it to fit, but I'm not confident I can shrink it to the right size. I wish this was pre-shrunk cotton!!

I love that it has pockets. However, it makes that part of the dress poof out more, makes your waist look a little too wide there. The v-neck is unique compared to other flannel dresses I've seen. But I wish the v-neckline were a little higher. I only have one mid-V-neck t-shirt to wear under. Standard v-neck t-shirts would show. Mid to deep V t-shirts would be fine but I'd have to buy more of those. (Unless it's outside of winter and you don't need to layer up.)

I had been eyeing this dress for a while and am happy that I finally purchased it. It is a great 3 season dress that is appropriate for the office or just hanging out. I can see how it might not work on a straighter body type, but I am short to average height and curvy with broad shoulders, so it works well for me. Hits above the knee and was a little tight in my shoulders, but relaxed after I had it on a while. Might need to get another in a different color!

This dress didn't do me any favors. I was hoping for something fall chic to wear with leggings and boots. The lower half was too fitted, hugging my backside. The upper half was awkward too, I have large chest size (36 DDD), and it was unflattering. Not fitted enough, giving a sack vibe. The fabric is a flannel, with no stretch, so the cut just might work better for others...probably more of a lithe frame as opposed to someone with curves.

I loved this dress. The fabric was nice and I liked the way it was cut. I'm just too short and things didn't line up for me correctly. The neck was much too low and the waist hit me too low as well. I'm always hopeful that Prana will start offering items in petite because I love their clothing, but the dresses rarely work for us petite people. For reference I am just under 5'3 and 115lbs. I ordered a size small and returned it.
