In 40 degree weather this lightweight sweater did the job. It would not have been fun had it gotten colder however. I would recommend it if you need something lightweight but more than just a sweater. IT does repell a light water drizzle but will absorb water in big time showers. Comfy to sleep in. I would say give it a try.
Very nice pullover
This pullover is almost too nice for me! It’s my first north face item and I’m really impressed with the quality and feel. I work a lot so I don’t wear it often but when I do, it’s super comfy.
Great product. Contrary to what some reviews say, it runs small. If you’re an athletic build with a big chest/ shoulders and arms then size up. I’m a large in everything and had to return it for an XL because the shoulders and arms were tight. Other than that it is great
Great as a midlayer/lightweight hoodie
I use it as a midlayer for snowboarding, in temps between -20 - 30f, keeps me warm on the slopes, and as a hoodie to sleep in while backpacking/camping. A little pricy for what it is but packs down small, semi water repellent but if its anything past a drizzle it'll soak through.
Great until you need to wash it
The first one I bought fell apart after the first machine wash. All the stitching let loose. I returned for a new one (hassle free!) and the new one is pilling really badly after a couple washes. For this price, I expect it to hold up for years. This just isn't the case.
Super Cozy
The price tag really turned me off at first but my god this hoodie is ridiculously soft. I'm so comfortable in it that I forget I'm wearing it sometimes. I'm usually somewhere between a medium and a large and the medium fits perfectly. Once again my only gripe is that it's so expensive.
Incredibly smooth and pretty warm
I picked this up while it was on sale and it was absolutely worth it. It almost feels like you’re wearing a sleeping bag - very lightweight and smooth material thats a cross between padding, an athletic sweatshirt, and a really soft rain jacket. I was wearing just this with nothing underneath and it kept me pretty warm in low 60’s weather.
