These seem like good pants for a backpacking trip--super lightweight and quick-dry fabric, with a convenient zip thigh pocket which I always look for. I usually wear a size 4 pants and ordered the SMALL size, but they are way too big: sag below the waist and very roomy in hips and thighs.
The fabric for these pants is nice, but the fit is terrible. I don't know who these are made for, but they're simultaneously to big and too small. They're roomy through the thigh, then taper down to extremely skinny through the calves. They're extra weird with boots since they're too tight to fit over hiking boots. You have to either tuck them into your boots or have them bunched over the top of your boots. Returning them.
i usually wear a women's Large, but these were too big in the waist area. also of note, one of the back belt loops was not attached at the top seam, otherwise i would have felt ok using a belt to keep these pants up. disappointed. i'm returning these
