In the past two years I have tried no less than six other pair of pants for rock climbing. None could remotely hold a candle to the Rab elevation pants. I wore them climbing in Yosemite and immediately came home and ordered a second pair. They have great stretch for movement without being saggy. They have a perfect cut for comfort while still being a flattering, trim fit. I love it that the fabric is actually durable enough to withstand the harsh abrasion of squeeze chimneys. The pockets are deep enough that I never have to worry about losing my phone or my chapstick, but if I were, the zippered pocket is roomy enough to accommodate and well placed so it doesn't inhibit movement if you do have a phone in there. Basically these pants are just rad. My only complaint is that they don't come in dark green!
