- Slim, flexible back system is adapted for children and features 2 body-hugging soft stripe pads with a channel in between that works like a chimney to vent away warm air
- VariQuick adjustable back length allows the torso length to be adjusted from 11 in. to 18 in.
- S-shaped shoulder harness includes ergonomically shaped padding with soft edges and an airy 3D mesh lining

Good layout, needs more support
Purchased this pack last year for my son. Overall, the layout and quality of the pack is excellent. My only gripe is the internal frame of the pack consists of a flexible plastic sheet. With only a modest load (~15 lbs) the pack had a tendency to bow and barrel. This made it difficult to adjust the pack and get it fitted just right to his torso. Not a bad pack if you’re only going to have your kid carry their clothing, but beyond that they will probably outgrow its usefulness quickly. If I could do it again, I’d probably just opt to get a small adult or women’s pack with a better frame.
