Summer must have.

Worth every penny! This is a lifesaver! Keeps my dog cool during our hikes. During the summer we definitely try and get out earlier to beat the heat but I always have this on hand, my dog loves it. He never tries to take it off. Ruffwear with another A+ product.

Canine cooler

So we live in NM at 5000 ft, this cooling collar works great since we still see 100deg days. In my border collie mix, she exercises in the heat with frisbee. Usually pour cold water in to the neck gaiter, plus a flat ice cube or two. She comes back from our park in such better and cooler shape than without. We love it. Most of our exercise is in the cooler mornings, but for noontime of sooner, she needs multiple trips to our park to stay sweet.

Great for heat

We live in the PNW but bought these while hiking the Sandia mountains in Albuquerque. Our two puppers (a German shepherd & a great pyranese mix) have so much hair and tend to overheat. We brought these along with a ziploc of ice to cool them around the halfway point and puppers love them. Looking forward to trying out here in the summer months of Seattle! Thankfully we have creeks and lakes to get wet again.

Our dog now considers this gaiter as part of his daily wear, just as much as his collar. He pants a lot less and seems to be better able to handle the heat.

For those hot hikes

Easy to carry in our pack, wet and in a ziplock, until needed. Dog seemed to enjoy the cooling effect, and we could easily re-wet it in a nearby stream.
