Ridden for 200 miles so far and it's great
I purchased this bike about 2 months ago and have been very satisfied with it! It rides smoothly and I was surprised by the responsiveness of the microshift drive train. The one complaint I have is with the tektro brakes it comes with. No matter how I adjusted the brakes they would occasionally squeak. They also were just pretty weak even after I bedded them. After about 50 miles of riding with them I ordered some Juintech cable actuated hydraulic brakes and replaced the tektros. The braking performance was much much better! Overall I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants an entry to mid level adventure/gravel bike.
Great Value & Quality
Riding frame 55 cm, perfect size for me at 5’8 - 165 lbs - 32/33 arm and 30 length pant. IMO, this frame runs small. Love the 1x and microshift advent is as solid as people say. metallic black looks cool. Couldn’t be happier at this price.
Great entry level gravel bike!
I’ve put 600 miles on this bike so far and I love it! It’s a great entry into gravel cycling at a reasonable price. I’m 5’3” and got the 53cm frame which fits great. The 650b wheels make for a smooth and comfortable ride on/off pavement. The saddle is pretty comfortable too. I really don’t have any complaints about the bike. The folks at REI Cincinnati did a great job with assembly and when I brought the bike back for a six month tune up.
