No extra foot stool needed!

This is what was missing from my camping stuff. I don’t hike so wasn’t concerned about weight. Its not light but not as heavy as a zero gravity and packs way smaller. The backpack straps are a bonus to walk to the beach. Its to bulky though on your back to ride a e-bike. You can position the back to recline, not fully but you can kinda lean back & fall asleep. Its nice on arthritic knees as it sits at height like regular chair and then you just pull yellow knob to get foot rest up. the foot kinda tilts down and it is a little short so taller folks might have alot of leg hanging over. I’m 5’5” and it hits at my calves & rest of foot is off, but I still love it. Width wise its wider than an airplane seat so guessing up to sz 22 should fit.

Poor Design

In theory, this chair should be awesome. Unfortunately, someone clearly didn’t put any thought into the design of the leg rest. It simply won’t keep your legs up! There’s no feature to lock the leg rest in place, and instead it relies on some sort of friction physics wizardry. Except it doesn’t work. I know the backpack straps are tempting, but save yourself the trouble and don’t even take a chance on this one. Bummer!!

Great Chair For Short People

I bought this chair about 2 weeks ago for our camping trip at Lake Tahoe this week. I finally found a comfortable chair to lounge around the campsite. I’m 5’ tall and this fits me perfectly, the legz up lounger stays up, even when I move around on the chair. I originally was looking for lightweight zero gravity chair but they all seemed too big and difficult to get the right position to relax. And I found I didn’t like to lay back so far in the chair. This legz up lounger let’s me sit upright and supports my legs. We have many camp chairs but this is my new favorite!!

Huge disappointment

Shame on me for not reading the reviews before making this purchase. I like to read while camping and I was excited to finally find a chair where I could have my feet up and still be sitting upright. And I was willing to pay for a good chair. But, as another reviewer stated, if you shift AT ALL, the leg rest falls. What a waste of money.

Legz up, don't stay up

My experience is limited to 10 minutes use, but that was enough to reveal the leg platform doesn't work well. The leg platform locks into place when set to the "up position", but if you move your body it immediately releases. By move I mean, if you shift position, move your body at all, try to use the side pouch, *any* movement at all releases the leg platform to the down position. I will be returning the chair for refund; not replacing.

Unsafe chair

This chair is unsafe. Only used 3 times. Seems that if used in sun, the heat warms up the arm rests and they will no longer hold the back in place. The chair dumped me backwards hyperglexing my spine causing injury. Expensive chair with cheap manufacturing.

Not a good chair

The first time we used this chair it broke. The arms won't hold with any weight on it when you lean it back. The legs up part won't stay up either. We own the beach chair of this model and zero issues for over a year now. Not sure what happened to this one.

Broke after two uses

After the first use, the leg rest stopped working. During the second use, the entire chair collapsed and the armrest snapped off. I will be attempting to return. Based on the reviews, this is clearly an improperly designed product.

Love love love this lounger!

Love love love this lounger. It’s nice to have your legs reclined up and not have to have your upper body reclined back. It has 4 positions for the upper body recline. Love it! I wish furniture recliner makers gave us this option. They could learn some things from the GCI legz up lounger!

Nice chair, but wish leg section was longer

This is a very nice chair. Love the ability to raise the lower portion of the chair while sitting upright. I wish it were where the length of the lower portion could be longer. I am short, but when I raise the lower portion, my heals hang off past the end. The cushion there helps, but if it were just a bit longer, that would be grand. I wondered if The height of the chair could be raised just a bit to maybe allow for that lower portion to be extended in length just a bit? Chair sits very comfortably.
