Ebike rated and road friendly.
Purchased a pair to give my new Ebike a paved road friendly ride. After inspected and installing them, I will keep them for their tread design. They provide a smooth low resistant ride. They are sufficiently wide, and appear to be resistant to puncture. Installation was routine, by pinching the bead into center of the rim to create slack. They are ebike rated, as I learned a requirement in Europe. They are on the heavy side, which I deducted a star.
Absolutely impossible to install
This tire is absolutely impossible to install. After four snapped tire levers and two popped tubes, I will be returning both tires. I have changed dozens of flats, but this is another animal. It took two of us just to get the tire off the rim after popping the first tube. Forget about changing the tire yourself if you're out on a long ride. I've read about other people having this problem with Continental tires. Just didn't think it could be this bad.
Continental Contact Plus is an excellent tire!
The Continental Contact plus tires were a great buy at REI and they were a great fit for my KBO Hurricane ebike. My ride is so much smoother with these tire and I’m not getting flats all the time. The bike guys and girls took the time and have my wheels rolling better than new!
