Puncture protection!
I wasn't going to bother reviewing this tire I bought 12+ months ago, but I changed my mind. A couple nights ago, I was riding home from work in near darkness, when I hit something in the road I hadn't seen and it embedded itself in my tire. Turns out to have been a short piece of barbed wire that was sitting there like a miniature caltrop waiting for me to run over it. I said a few bad words about having to take the back wheel off, swap out the tube or patch it, then get the wheel and chain back into place. I pulled the barb out of the tire expecting a hiss sound, but I didn't hear one. To my amazement, the puncture protection held and I decided I had to write this. Aside from that, it rolls smoothly, it's a bit heavy, and it doesn't do well on loose sand, but you already knew that from the web page.
