These were my first Asolo boots, but they won’t be my last. Just returned from a nine day hike on the western coast of Newfoundland (including Gros Morne mountain) and these served me well through all types of weather and terrain. Break-in was short and I really appreciated the Vibram soles and Goretex lining. And the laces are easy to tie and stay tied.

I don’t know why these shoes have poor reviews, they are great. I have worn Asolo landscape for years, they are waterproof but not too hot, they keep sand and dirt out, and on trails they last for a couple of hundred miles .

Sheered lace hooks

Purchased these boots and have liked them well enough although I haven't used them a ton. I was wearing them today and noticed that two of the lacing hooks had sheared off. Will be getting new boots and these are unusable now.

I loved the way this green shoe looked in the picture but when I took it out of the box, it is dark charcoal gray. Additionally, it runs about a size too large, very hard and heavy. Not what I expected from Asolo.
