Powerful battery for the cost
We recently purchased the delta battery right before we got hit with storms that took out power out for 3 days. We kept the refrigerator running, internet, computers and TVs going plus the delta recharged via our 400watt solar that was already on our camper. I am so thankful we had this unit. I also have a river pro and I love the app functionality. I was a little sad when I found the delta didn’t have the all functionality. But it was still worth it for the amount of power it can dispense and hold. It recharges super fast. I also have used it with me electric corded chainsaw to aid in the recovery effort off all the down trees on our property. It run the corded chainsaw like a champ and had plenty of power to spare.
Two Year Review
After two years of consistent use, I have to write a review. Initially purchased to power our Dometic CFX3 45 fridge on a cross country road trip, I have since used it to: A) keep our home fridge running for a 12 hour power outage B) powering electronic charging needs for a 7 person base camp during a double crossing of the Grand Canyon C) powering a coffee grinder + Technivorm Moccamaster brewing setup at camp D) powering a AC heating unit when camping in sub freezing temps It has been a tremendous resource in the backcountry, in the car, and at home. The quick charge at home and the ability to recharge using a DC while driving is invaluable. The 1800w AC are a game changer as many home appliances and power tools are rated at 1500w. There is no other portable power with this capacity at this price point. Highly recommend!
Nice Power Unit.
Excellent little Power Unit. Keeps my equipment running all day on a charge even without utilizing the solar panels for back-up charging.
Total and complete garbagbe
Purchased to power a small observatory at my college. Product arrived DOA. Flashing blue light says that is because the battery is bad according to the manual. Company completely ignores all support requests. I sent them two emails, one to the address in the manual and another to the address on their web site (yes, these are different addresses). It has been three weeks and no reply to either. I'm sorry but if they can't be bothered to answer email, I can't be bothered to give them my money. My advice is to just walk on by.
Great for fridge
I've owned my delta for a little over 1 year. I primarily use it to power my dometic cfx3 55 fridge when camping. I get about 3 days out of it without charging. I have no experience with any other solar generator so i can't compare. But it charges super fast in a wall outlet. About 7 hours with 2x85 watt panels and good sun. I would recommend some 100watt+ panels for sure. I bought the eco flow fold up ones but wouldve been cheaper to get "after market" ones online. Overall, I'm pleased And it does what it is supposed to do.
it stops working and terrible customer service
The Delta stopped working and REI would not back up the purchase. Then ECOFLOW really hassled us on fixing it, as if they didn't believe we had a problem. Then once they agreed to look at the unit, they refused to send out a replacement until they had time to look at the unit. This is an emergency back up and of course they didn't support us properly. We were able to finally send it to them but then they claimed they never received it. After a long time they agreed to send us a used unit as a replacement for our 9 month old purchase. We endured three power failures as a result of these companies not backing up their product. BTW, the unit is MUCH heavier than the marketing photos would suggest. And the battery doesn't last as long as claimed.
Location photography, and Eco Flo Delta
I work in the Photography industry as a digital technician. That means I take my 2-16in MacBook Pro’s,hard drives and 27 inch monitor on my cart for jobs in studio or outside. My 2 Eco Flo Deltas 1300 checked all the for being outside without running a noisy Honda generator. Typically I can run my computer quick minute for 5 hours and have 40% battery left (depending on the brightness setting of the monitor). I can charge the Ecoflo in the Production RV for 45 minutes to an hour and be back at 90%. So having 2 of these for 10 to 12 hour day works great for me. And they are much quieter than Honda generator with a 25 foot extension cable to keep the noise away from me.
Workhorse for supporting field work with one catch
Pretty happy with this unit. Bought it to provide power/charging for our University research drone flights when we're in the backcountry. Definitely does the job admirably. With a solar panel hooked up to it, we never ran out of power during a 3 day trip. Only one minor criticism - the USB-C plugs are only 65W and not the 100W of my EcoFlow River unit. That means I can't charge/power my laptop via USB-C with this unit (my laptop is a hungry beast and needs 100W for power over USB-C).

As a number of reviews have mentioned, this device’s listed watt hrs doesn’t match up to real world use. Also, there are some pretty glaring deficiencies that require bringing it back for a return: - No way to monitor the device via mobile device. It’s hard to believe but it’s true, even the Mini version of the Delta has this functionality. - After many hrs testing, a complete fail when trying to use the Delta to power my Dometic cooler. Using AC, the Delta drops ~60% in 24hrs, and that’s with no other devices plugged in, no accessing the cooler, and bringing the cooler to temp before switching to the Delta. Also, when trying to use the 12v car charger the Delta shuts off. It shuts off! There is an auto shutoff feature that kicks in if there isn’t a constant drain and it can’t be disabled. I reached out to Ecoflow’s truly awful customer service and they eventually said yep that’s just how it is. FAIL. I really wanted to like the Delta but it’s going back.
I live off grid in Maine with major appliances (frig, cook stove, water heater) run by propane. Use a small inverter generator (2000 watt) to runs lights, modem and occasional tv. The DELTA 1300 is just awesome. I can run the generator and charge it, maybe once every 3-4 weeks. It'll run the lap top modem and LED desk light for days. I hardly run the generator. I was a big concerned about fan noise but I run it right next to my desk and it is nothing to worry about. I couldn't afford to get the solar panels at the same time but will probably do so in the future. This is an awesome product with the quick recharge one of the best features.
