[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness this is like the greatest jacket ever I swear it is so awesome ventilates from the back it keeps you warm from the front you could do a lot with it looks cool feels really good extremely flexible but such a minimal feel if you're using it casual or you're actually using this for running hiking and all that stuff don't think about it just get it I got the vest to because it's so good
Great Moisture Wicking Jacket
I have been in search for the best moisture wicking insulated jacket. Tried everything. This is the solution to my long standing search. Very happy with this purchase.. plus it was on clearance..
My go-to winter running jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cold weather runs have become so much more enjoyable in this jacket. It blocks heavy wind like a champ, and provides great warmth, especially for how thin it is. I've been pairing it with a warm, tight base layer for runs with strong wind and temperatures around 10F. I've felt warm each time. Note that it's definitely slim fitting. This is a plus for me (I don't have a need to pair more than one good base layer underneath) but it might be a stretch to fit a base layer and mid layer underneath. Highly recommended!
Bad fit.
The jacket arrived as a “slim fit” even though that was not mentioned anywhere in the description. Slim fit is cut weird and the sleeves are too short.
Too Small
Go a size up, the length of the jacket and sleeves is shorter then expected.
Unreal
I bought this jacket for cold weather running. However, I wanted to test it's limits and when I did, this jacket performed better than expected. First, I used this in combination with the Brooks notch thermal 2.0 - another remarkable piece of kit. I've made round trips on Mount Lady Washington and Quandary peak in full-winter conditions with only these two layers. I don't like being cold and I never once felt a chill. I've also used it in high winds at Loveland Pass - with a light wind-shell this is as good a setup as gortex. Perfect for alpine hikes - super light and packable. The jacket is warm but more importantly it has incredible wicking prowess. The outer shell sheds moisture like I've never seen. I have a wonderful puffy that hasn't been pulled out all season because of this jacket. My Gore-Tex is equally lonely lol.
Yes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Anchorage, AK and have tan a few times in this jacket. As advertised, it does keep you warm. I ran outside when it was 3F and felt good. The back panel allows for a quick cool down. The only thing I'd change about this jacket is to raise the underarm cuts so they cup your armpit area better, and I wouldn't have the shoulder length as long. If the jacket had a similar cut to their flight series better than naked jacket it would be perfect!
Perfect sub freezing technical trail jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect jacket for what it is---probably wouldn't wear it out casually---it looks nice, but, this is definitely a technical piece of gear. I was looking for something that I can run in with just one layer underneath when the weather drops below 32. This jacket is incredible--probably would work with a technical short sleeve t-shirt for anything 32-40. I've been wearing with a long sleeve technical t-shirt when the weather is in the teens ---yesterday with 18 mph winds it felt like 5 and I was toasty warm with just my Craft base layer. Plenty of ventilation in the back panel ----and jacket does well to wick sweat away from base layer. Most of my trail runs are 45 minutes to an hour and a half and this jacket stays fairly dry. Best cold winter jacket I have ever owned---another winner from TNF. 5'5" 180 - broad shoulders and athletic build and the medium fits perfect.
Great for recumbent biking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ride a recumbent bicycle. My base layer is 250g merino wool. The lack of insulation in the back is perfect for this purpose. At 40 degrees I don't need any middle layers. At 32 degrees I had a light fleece as a mid layer. I am 173 lbs. 5'10". 37 inch waist 41 inch chest. With no extra layers fit is perfect. With extra layers it's pretty tight in the arms but no a problem for me.
I would recommend this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket to run in wintertime New England. I've worn it running twice so far. The colder of the two outing was only 14 degrees. I had only a base layer that I wear snowboarding under the Winter Warm Jacket. The jacket kept me completely comfortable. The jacket is very lightweight. The design keeps you from overheating with breathable panels.
