Doesn't dry
I wanted to replace all my plastic bottles with metal bottles, so I got these and smaller sized bottles from another brand. The inside of these bottles don't dry for a day or 2 after I wash them. It may be due to the design flow + material. When I mix electrolytes with water, there are fungus looking spots inside the bottles after they are finally dry. I have used dish detergent with a brush to clean up these spots but these spots don't come off unless I brushes them for a long time. This doesn't happen to the other metal bottles from another brand.

Easily dented, non insulated, and makes your water taste metallic. So many other better options out there. On the plus side it's inexpensive and lightweight.
Too noisy to use
I really liked the design of this water bottle but every time I took a drink, there was a loud squeaky sound. I returned it, hoping it was a fluke, and ordered another but the same thing happened so sadly, I returned it. Surprised that REI would carry a product with this problem.
Don't waste your money on this
Spend the extra $ and purchase something better. Super loud and squeaky when you're trying to drink from the cap
One hand bottle!
I like stainless steel and the mouthpiece which I can easily open and close with my teeth while Driving! One hand only! I also have one by my bedside.

My favorite water bottle!
I had a water bottle just like this one that came missing. I put a piece of tape around it. I put my phone number and name on the back. So hopefully it won’t go missing again.
Great for kids
Solid bottle for the active 3 year old. He loves the blue and has dropped it many times, proving thin is still durable.
Great container
Kleen Kanteen is hard to beat, but they will dent. So be genital.
