These shoes are extremely comfortable. I have worn many different trainers and these are by far the most comfortable I have ever worn. While I did initially come in for the HOKA Speedgoat 4 trail runner shoes (they were out of stock), I was pleased to grab these. The colors are fierce and really make you the center of attention. I super love these shoes and recommend them to anyone who wants to feel like they are walking on clouds.
The shoe has been the best bang for the buck. Comfort is a 10 and is true to size.
Very disappointed with my second pair of Rincon 3. My first pair I wore for 650 miles running and everyday walking. My second pair (this pair I'm reviewing) only lasted about a month of normal usage. The sole of the right shoe collapsed causing sever right knee pain. After this experience I don't think I will give HOKA shoes another chance. I have been a daily runner for over 20 year. this is the very first time something like a collapsed sole has happened. Quality issues!!!
The shoe looks and feels awesome very lightweight and responsive. Has good cushioning. I used this shoe as an everyday running shoe, the most distance covered in one time with the shoe was 20 miles and it felt good but I do feel if Id have taken the shoe further I might have felt some discomfort in my knees. The cons about the shoe is that the sole went out pretty quick as most of my runs are out on the road, So if you plan on purchasing just know that the sole can wear out very quickly if youre constantly walking/runnning on concrete. Aside from that I have enjoyed the shoe.
When I stood up after putting on my shoes and stood up, I was positively giddy with pleasure. They felt so comfortable and supportive. The color combination really put my appreciation of these shoes over the top. IOW, it was a decision not based completely on logic, but still, I'm glad I have them. 20% off didn't hurt, either!
I bought these after trying them on in store, and thought they were 4 stars good. The shoe ( I thought) was comfortable to wear, but I felt the soles were a tad mushy. With the show fitting so we’ll I decided to buy them and get used to the soft sole. After wearing them in the house a bit, and to take my daughter to the bus top twice, I realized my big tow was rubbing on the side of the shoe a fair bit. So I’m returning them. They aren’t for me, but maybe they are for you. I don’t have weird feet, or even that issue with many shoes I try on btw. The quality seems good.
New favorite running shoes. Huge support in a crazy light weight shoe. This is my first hoka shoe but now I’m considering grabbing a pair of trail runners since they’re so comfortable.
Fits well and supports my feet great for daily medical office work.
The heal support became defective after about 3 months. Other than that. Very comfortable and REI did an excellent job withat a free exchange.
I have purchased all versions to the Rincon and all were stellar including the Rincon 3. I see a few reviews complaining about the thin tongue. My response is - wear a medium grade running sock (quality brand) and you will never notice the difference. These fit identical to the 1-2 versions with a huge toe box (love that). Plenty of cushion and I expect it to perform well.
