The truth

On March 31, 2022 I ordered 7 pairs. I have been using a different brand for several years, which are similar to theI decided to give under armor a try. The under armor are comfortable. The stitching on two of the under armor started coming apart and I don’t work out, run nor exercise that would cause this to happen especially after a month and a half. No bueno. Never had that issue with other brands. Would be nice if the crotch area was 1 layer vs 2. Would be a little cooler down there.

Poor Substitue for its Predecessor Item # 1289568

This is the replacement for item #1289568. Ill start with The good: Material seems slightly sturdier, crotch area is double layer fabric, they added a pocket. The Bad: Top elastic band has very little elasticity making the shorts slide down. The form fitted crotch now also has a seem running down the center of it - making your whole pkg look like its in a banana hammock, looks ridiculous! Would not recommend, I owned 20 pairs of the former and used them as underwear. Just purchased 3 pairs of these and am massively disappointed. Also sizing is off on the new ones. When I ordered the exact same size the new ones are baggier

One Year Later . . .

Been wearing these for exercise (running, HIIT, resistance) for a year now. I'm 60 yrs old, 5'11", 170, wearing medium, and this was my first UA gear. I was a bit put off at first by the price, but wanted the pocket to secure my phone while running. Good to wear under shorts to help keep thing PG during floor work at the gym. waist stays up, the legs stay down, and everything in between stays where is should. In spite of instructions, I wash in warm with everything else, dry on high, and they still look and fit like they did on day one. I am not disappointed and have purchased a 2nd pair.

Great for gravel bike ride

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just back from a ride and I love these UA compression shorts I wore. Nice and cool and feel and look great. I don't wear anything over them. The pocket is nice to have. Fits my phone perfect. I weigh 165 with 34 waist and 40 hips. 70 years old.

A must buy!

Orderer a white pair for running and working out. The good, material is comfortable and provides good support. Shorts have a side pocket for storing your phone or headphones during a run. Love the fact that no more mesh in the groin area. Compresion shorts were good and hekd up during a run. These are better than the older heargear compression shorts. Only thing i dont like is that they feel a bit “cheap” or should i say thin. I think the compression shorts should be a little more thick and not a bit see thru. Make them more like the iso compression shorts.

Outstanding Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually had intended to purchase the UA compression, long (inseam) WITHOUT the pockets. However, apparently UA has made a decision to discontinue those shorts, replacing inventory with these pocket shorts. The pockets (empty) don't seem to create any additional bulk, the major concern. Support, compression and fit are great in all areas -- buttocks, legs (few inches above the knees - just right for me), waist. UA compression shorts legs do not ride up nor does the waist band ride down. Used for running and other high activity fitness regimens. Shorts: XLT Long (9-inch inseam). Height: slightly under 6'3". Weight: 227 lbs (yeah, I put on weight recently, but these shorts fit now and will fit when that weight is reduced to the usual level);

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an older athlete my bones and muscles get cold and it takes a long time t get them warm enough to run up and down the court. The compression shorts not only warm my bone and muscles up faster. The shorts help to keep my legs warm and protected in a very tight space, The only problem that I have with my compression shorts are. That I did not start using them a lot sooner. I have lost about seven to 12 pounds since I started to use the compression shorts. The price is right as well.

The very best compression short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these compression shorts. They hold you muscles and they're comfortable at the same time. I enjoy wearing them at the gym and friends have inquired about purchasing them. After a workout they leave my muscles relaxed, they're breathable and comfortable to wear. I will definitely be buying more of them and I highly recommend them to anyone who's involved in physical conditioning. Buy one and you'll be amazed how they help your muscles during a workout...I highly recommend them.
